I recently got takeout here. The best way I can describe it is the Walmart of Asian takeout. Defrosted vegetables that are god knows how old, and really salty sauces to make you forget your sense. The worst part was ordering green tea ice cream. So old it was chewy! Almost as chewy as the "beef" or whatever grade D rubber they were using. I'll never eat here again. So many better options in Charleston. Anybody have a recommendation for somewhere better in West Ashley?

Re: “RESTAURANT REVIEW: Taste of Thai”
I went to the restaurant on night after this surprisingly glowing review reached the web, and I had a similar bad experience as the other commenters. My take-out which they said would take 30 minutes, ended up taking 70. They said they were slammed, but they were simply understaffed. While I was waiting, I saw two tables get up and leave because their food hadn't arrived. At home I found out that they had given me a box of pretty much uncooked rice. I had to finish cooking it myself. I wish I went back to get a refund.
