First of all this is not a costume...it's a lifestyle. That's like telling a cowboy in Dallas to go take off his costume. It's insulting. I am not a rockabilly chick, but know enough to use the correct terminology. They are not antique cars. You will find those in Palm Springs, Fl on the auction block at really hoity-toity car show with champagne and caviar. These are hot rods, rat rods and cool custom cars that people have made into their own spending countless hours on personalizing their own car with custom license plate floor boards. Also, there was not competition by all the women, but rather a wonderful collaboration of talent and excitement all going for a really worthy cause. Next time have your reporter interview the people that she is writing about a little more thoroughly and she will get all the information she needs. Lynn, who owns the Mill and planned the event and Carolina St. Jane, whose photos were hanging everywhere were not mentioned once. Kinda missed the mark here.
