Alright I will admit it, I went to have lunch at SNOB but when told the wait was 45 minutes decided to give Amen a ring and so glad I did. Richard and the great Architects firm GTG did an amazing job and did the City justice when they conceived this restaurant. This isn’t just a restaurant with platters of food, there is an amazing story which serves as the foundation. The Fried Green tomatoes were a refreshing, shrimp local and salad well proportioned and priced. Though in the thick of tourist central I bumped into an equal amount of locals. The service was sharp but not intrusive, management visible and the chef intently surveying his patrons. As the review said, visit now before the season begins!

What a great event tonight! We had from the start about 11 and that number doubled quickly. Good friends meeting new ones and I even overheard someone getting a well deserverd job lead! I hope the group continues. GREAT JOB WELL DONE!!!

Sally you sound the voice of reason so when you climb to the top of your tree to shout the alarm we will be there. Only through education, ops where does our great state stand in the rankings...well on second thought at least we know where America is on the map…ops got that wrong too. The GLBT community, women’s rights to vote, too choose, and racial disparities’ need addressing on equal footing and I rest knowing there is HOPE. Now strap on those heals hike up that skirt and sound the alarm!

While visiting Croatia last year I asked a man “what will it take to overcome the divisions between the neighboring countries” poignantly he said “another generation”. How many generations will it take for us to realize the vision our forefather had when they penned “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. The ruling given in the BUTCHERS' UNION CO. v. CRESCENT CITY CO., 111 U.S. 746 (1884) “Among these unalienable rights, as proclaimed in that great document, is the right of men to pursue their happiness,” has yet to be understood that “the right” applies to every man. Until we accept that to be gay or not isn’t a choice, we as a nation will remain ignorant. I severed and bleed for our nation so that those who speak ill of this article and writer , for example, can say the vicious things written here and wish they would return the privilege with equal respect and perspective. Thank you Sally.
