This place has gone down the tubes and hit rock bottom. Ever since the original owner sold, prices have spiked, service has gone downhill, and food quality has faltered almost to the point of disrepair. This used to be my favorite restaurant in all of Charleston. I used to recommend to friends and anyone who would ask about good eats. I can no longer recommend it in good conscience with the current management and the waiters that have turned this place into a nightmare dining experience.
Is it just me or does city paper always bash anything Mount Pleasant, especially Old Mount Pleasant. I am going to try it myself and judge for myself because I have not found City Paper's reviews at all accurate.
I have a cheat sheet for you BittyMindedPaper...
McCain for President
Lindsey Graham Senate
Henry Brown Congress
Sad that even in Red Charleston County that a Newspaper is swimming in Obama's little fish tank. You people are truly sad!
Mr Moredick, you are full of it and so wrong. The only people voting based on race are blacks. 98% of the black vote going to Obama is clearly a racist vote. White voters have and always will vote on "content of character" (MLK) and issues. Obama is not post-racial, that is intellectually dishonest to espouse that lie, just look at Rev Wright. Dems are the biggest panderers to any and all racial groups. I know you are intellectually dishonest because you ignore recent polls that point to youth (18-30) evenly split between the two candidates. The future of America looks toward the future and sees it brighter with a President McCain. They do not want to labor so that the Liberal Threesome (ObamaReidPelosi) take their hard earned paycheck and "spread the wealth" to those who dont work hard. Those policies are in fact Socialist and verge on Communist and its not what America is about. (liberals then say "Bush is just as socialist, just look at the bailout" and i say to that BS, once again liberalism shows itself as the mental disorder that it truly is. You dont argue for a socialist candidate because of the necessary actions needed to stabilize our markets. Socialism, if you want to call the bailout socialist, stops there. We do not need more and a large majority of Americans agree... just look at the polls for proof.
