As a resident of Milwaukee, I am one of the people who will not sleep for days at a stretch due to the 105th Anniversary celebration here. I don't mind the mad crash of people and the gridlocked streets, because I can avoid them. I do mind the constant motorcycle noise, all night every night for the last two days, and only to get worse for the next two. The bikers don't cause problems, they are generally respectful, and they pour a lot of money into our local economy. But I think noise pollution is a definate quality-of-life issue. Most of us Milwaukee residents have to work!!!! I'm certainly glad it's only every five years!!!!!
