The waterfront location is nice. As far as the dining experience, it is fine. It is obvious this establishment has managed to keep prices down by correctly naming this THE WRECK...and seem to have taken the idea and "ran" with it. NOTHING remotely close to fancy here, down to the canned drinks and paper plates. Actually, I was surprised to find they have indoor restrooms. As far as the food, it was good. I ordered grilled shrimp and scallops and by gosh, it was flavorful. The lack of a child's menu in this day and time? I see it as a huge oversight. With the money this place is saving on overhead, why should parents buy an adult meal to feed their toddler? Our daughter ate off of our plates. That in my opinion, says a place isn't kid-friendly, which turns most families away immediatley. But all in all, at least go and say "been there and done that".
This is an absolute waste of time and money! You can get better food from the frozen food section at Wal-Mart. I ordered crab stuffed shrimp which tasted like NOTHING, I refused to pay for it. My husband decided on fried shrimp. They were so greasy, he couldn't eat but a few. Very sad that this poor excuse of a restaurant is in any way, shape or form related to "Bubba Gump". Our dinidg experience would surely make him turn over in his grave.
Re: “Noisy Oyster”
Ok, so last night, my husband and I were craving some seafood. We decide on this place...BAD choice y'all. The service was soooo slow and the place wasn't that busy! One of the orders was wrong, making the wait longer!! The food was very greasy. Over-priced for frozen food. My margarita was good. Skip this place and go to Cap'n D's instead.
