Most well-written article I've "read" in years. Short, simple, to the point. Thanks for nothing Sanford!
Most over-hyped restaurant in Charleston. Food is ridiculously terrible. Chesse dip was scary, and had the texture of a congealed goo aliens spit out in the movies. The entrees are just a mess of flavors and textures. The salad was good. But then again, why is salad being served in a mexican restaurant? No mas, por favor!
Art's is definitely one of the best kept secrets is Charleston. Bartenders are friendly and the crowd vibe is very eclectic. Outside deck is amazing, and you never know who you'll meet there! Definitely the best neighborhood bar in Charleston.
Love this place. Great atmosphere, the detail in the decor is amazing and very pleasing to the eye. Margaritas are wonderful, definitely recommend the sangria margarita! The food is great as well. definitely more so-cal style mexican, but is always fresh and always delicious. The fish tacos are amazing, as well as the nachos. Service is great, but when they get busy, it's BUSY. Love it.
Perfect waterfront location, and that's about all this restaurant has going for it. The service staff all seemed to just wander around and were very careless about their customers. It was obvious that this was a mutual feeling with almost all surrounding tables as well. No one seemed "busy" even though the restaurant was full. A meal that should have taken an hour took two. Wait time for drinks, food, even water were ridiculous. Food was underseasoned, overpriced, and portions were small. Was really looking forward to my meal and was very dissapointed, hopefully this was just an off night.
