Re: “Bàsico and Mixson Bath & Racquet open on the Fourth

^ Driftaway, maybe the fee should be refunded, not sure what the policy is. I seem to remember applying to colleges that had an associated application fee (non-refundable). I got turned away by a few but didn't get my feelings hurt, I moved on....which is what those complaining should do...move on. What's really funny is that the same people complaining on here are probably the same ones spreading rumors like "Kids can't get into the pool"....fyi there were TONS of kids in the pool today.

I am a Park Circle resident and admit that I was taken back by the application at first. However, instead of making assumptions and false accusations, TALK to the Jamestown peeps instead of making anonymous comments on a message board. Their goal is to be diverse, not exclusionary. People, I'm sorry your feelings are hurt because your application did not get approved.

Re: “Big crowds and fine beers at Brewvival

I'd like to thank the people from Coast (especially David Merritt and Jaime Tenny ) for making this event and high gravity beer possible in South Carolina. I did not think the price was excessive for what everyone was able to enjoy for 6 HOURS!!! I agree that maybe next year more food and better sound and maybe girls dressed up in German outfits, but for year 1....helluva job everyone!!! Funniest thing all day was the dude who fell in the creek and got escorted out with his girlfriend trying to hide behind him....priceless.

Re: “The 9/11 porn of Cloverfield

Dude it's about the Leviathan.....supposedly mentioned in the bible...represented by the White horses and chariot. That's the symbolism...not 911
