Aren't there some starving children in Africa that these crazy people could go help? At the very least, they could volunteer their time to help people right here in downtown Charleston at Crisis Ministries instead of harassing women every Saturday.
I have to agree with goatgirl...how about that crowd of older women (and men) in the front row, directly in front of the stage?? OBNOXIOUS and distracting is an understatement. Someone from security should have made them stop flailing their arms in the air & "pretend" flashing the crowd behind them...no one wanted to see that, I can assure you. We paid $168 to hear that 40-something year old woman scream "Abracadabra" (the WORST song ever) about a million times before SM told her we was going to play it.
Tourist TRAP. You could wait in line for crappy food all day long & it will still be crappy food when you get it.
Go Timmy!!!!
Wow! Somebody had a lot of time on their hands on these comments, didn't they?? I am a 37 year old professional WOMAN who rides a Harley Davidson with straight pipes (aka LOUD pipes)...the main reason: SO I WON'T GET PLOWED DOWN by a cell phone-texting teenage idiot driving a giant SUV. Why, oh, why don't people like Will Moredock take the time to write about things that REALLY matter?? How about the police walking around the 4-way stops on Beaufain Street giving out tickets when there are drug dealers selling crack just 10 blocks away at every 4-way stop north of the crosstown? You know...something worthy of discussion?
Re: “Queen Street Grocery & Café”
I went to Queen St. Grocery recently and had a terrible experience...as stated in previous posts, the owner was unfriendly and engaged in a 5-minute personal conversation with another worker while I stood at the counter, 2 feet from her, waiting to order. As I approached the counter for the 2nd time to purchase another drink, she did the same thing with a wine rep. Not apologetic or friendly at all when she finally decided to acknowledge my presence each time. Next, I was presented with the most bland hummus ever created...and a soggy crepe arrived 20 minutes later. The place wasn't busy at all and I left $20 poorer & very disappointed. Maybe I caught her on a bad day (she was complaining about commuting from Hilton Head), but I still won't be back.
