Good grief! Can't we ever be done with the Sanfords?
I'm a little surprised by the righteousness of all who think they know what should or should not be done. Case in point: Thomas Ravenel's Post and Courier letter to the editor was especially crazy. He says Rosa needs to go. And I suppose The Citadel could have melted Thomas Ravenel's ring down after he wasted state money as a loser State Treasurer--and then wasted more state money paying for his short prison term. Does he really need to say anything about anything?! If any one of us had kilos of cocaine in our possession we would still be under the jail. Charleston reeks of cronyism and it's not getting any better. Judge Joe Mendlesohn is at this very moment sending Occupy Charleston participants to jail. He was caught just a few years ago speeding towards Charleston from Myrtle Beach with an open bottle of vodka between his seats. Way too drunk to drive, but did he spend a day in jail? No! Joseph Riley is a loyal Democrat, so I hate to continue this rant. But it looks like the good press on our city will be tainted sooner or later since nobody has learned anything. Time for CHANGE! Rosa just wants to stay until retirement so he can remain where he and his wife think they have "roots." He came here to wind down and is probably wondering why you all expected him to have to work so hard to prove himself again. Change is hard. Charleston and The Citadel will pay a price if people don't be more aware and stop lawyering up every time there's something that needs to be said.
