It's safe to say if one uses "The Dukes of Hazzard" to make a point, said point is rather weak.
There are some very valid points in this article. The problem with it, however, lies in Moredock's insistence on pandering to his own white guilt and laying all of the problems at the foot of the white man. I know someone who recently moved back to California after an attempt at living in Charleston. Because of racism. But not just white people. He couldn't understand why there was so much hatred directed towards him from local black people. Blame it on society 50 years ago if you must, but at some point we must move forward. White AND black.
Cue the "if you don't like it here, move back to Caleeforneeahhh" replies.
It's not a "destination" restaurant if you live near Park Circle. And really, you're going to write a 300 word review on a dining experience that coincided with the St. Patrick's Day Parade? Why not review their bar service on New Year's Eve?
What'd you do to get that B to smile?
Re: “New Moon Pizzeria & Pub”
Awful. The service is non-existent, the food terrible, AND it's expensive. Do yourself a favor: buy a California Kitchen frozen pizza and a 6 pack from the Pig.
And the bartender looks like the lead singer from the Insane Clown Posse.
