I've been a couple of times now, and wish to go again before I move. They do a great job!
I'm a Unitarian by proclaimed faith, with strong Pagan leanings. I think we need more people who center their beliefs in the life experiences of the planet, if we hope to preserve it from human folly. I am happy to be more connected to oneness than to organized religion.. Let the wheel turn, let there be light to follow night, spring to follow winter. Let us all see a dawning in harmony.
I agree about the charm of this improbably storied movie, it's very enjoyable for anyone with poetry of mind or spirit. I'll just note that the comment about "mom" not knowing she had a child is covered by a sub-plot involving her father's total control freak behavior. It's there, but it's very subtle. A nice movie, one with a great deal of beauty.
The Mustard Seed on Maybank has been and remains one of my all-time favorite Charleston restaurants. Prices are reasonable, service always commendable, and the quality consistent. I enjoy introducing new people to Charleston by taking them there.
They didn't invent those lyrics, but they put them to great use! If you fancy unconventional bands at all, you owe it to yourself to see them! just leave room at the front for die-hard long-term fans, please!
