Mike Shaughnessy keeps the boiled peanut tradition alive with his stand. He also adds a different element to his mix, offering deep-fried peanuts in a variety of flavors. There's something about submerging a peanut into a hot vat of oil that makes the shell edible. It's weird, but good.
