Split Creek Farm has been raising goats in the upstate for 25 years. The Nubians are raised in a bucolic setting, getting daily attention. Split Creek uses the herd’s milk to make cheese and fudge. Their fresh chevre tastes earthy and creamy and is found on menus all over town. Split Creek also sells marinated and dry-wrapped feta, feta in brine, fromage blanc, multiple flavored chevre logs, and cheese balls flavored with apricot or raspberry. Their goat milk fudge has won three gold medals — you can get it at EVO. All-natural yogurt comes in drinkable batches flavored with lemon and strawberry or thick, Greek-style. On. Nov. 23 Split Creek will host a fall festival featuring music, craft vendors, and activities. All of Split Creek’s products are available in bulk for restaurants, and they sell directly to the consumer via their website.
