Jennifer and Enan Parezo's little café and bakery is like a sweet little surprise nugget on the far upper reaches of King Street. Although they've added a small community table to the space, they mainly operate as a to-go spot, with a creative menu of seasonal eats. They've been working to keep the menu more consistent with a few daily specials — try the buffalo chicken pizza, the shredded beef tacos with spiced plantain chips, or the lemon-basil chicken salad wrap. Take-home dinner options are available as well. Just pick them up, take them home, pop them in the oven, and pretend you've been slaving away for hours. But Jennifer really shines with her desserts. One recent offering: mascarpone strawberry cheesecake with basil syrup and a candied basil sugar nest. It's almost too good to come in a to-go box. Best of all, most everything at Twenty Six Divine costs less than $10. —Erica Jackson Curran, Dish (Summer 2012)
