This shiny chrome building on Dorchester Road is a true 1950s diner serving buttermilk pancakes, BLTs, and eggs any way you like them. But what you should stop in here for are the big, bold New York-style pizzas. These large-slice pies range from 10 to 16 inches, with a thin, garlicky crust. All the typical toppings are available, as well as a few unique options such as salami, eggplant, and broccoli. Chef Heather Sonoski's signature burgundy mushrooms on a soft roll with chopped steak and swiss cheese make for a killer cheesesteak, and the massive plate of spaghetti is as classic as it gets. Don't forget to check out the dessert carousel that's filled with cakes, pies, muffins, and cannolis. These tasty treats are all made in-house and shouldn't be missed. —Eric Doksa, Dish (Summer 2012)
