Fiery Ron's has become a West Ashley favorite for its tender ribs, chicken, and pulled pork sandwiches piled high with coleslaw and pickles on Texas toast. In May, pitmaster Aaron Siegel opened his second location, right in the heart of the action on Sullivan Island's Middle Street. The general effect is that of a backroads barbecue shack from somewhere in East Texas dropped down on the beach. Siegel has added a new menu offering out at Sullivan's, too: brisket. It's definitely not South Carolina barbecue — tender, juicy beef with a thin, spicy Texas-style sauce — but it's the best thing on the menu. Both locations feature live bluegrass, roots, and rock, too. —Robert Moss, Dish (Summer 2009)

One of the best live bands I have seen in concert, a little to country, though!!

Really enjoyed these guys at Athfest in GA they give it all at their shows. Glad to see they're playing near Charleston this weekend.
