Bill could allow exception to bike ban for James Island Connector
S.C. Department of Transportation workers installed signs in January notifying bicyclists and pedestrians that they would no longer be allowed on the James Island Connector. Local bicycling advocates are headed to the Statehouse to push for an exception to the state law banning bikes from freeways.
