The Circular Blues Unplugged series — organized by local musician and blues enthusiast Gary “Shrimp City Slim” Erwin — continues on Sunday evening with a set by Paul Geremia, an acclaimed singer/guitarist. Strumming and picking on six- and 12-string acoustic guitars, Geremia performs a set of classic country blues at the Circular Congregational Church at 7 p.m. A favorite among local blues fans, he’s become a regular at the annual Lowcountry Blues Bash events. Erwin calls him a “master country bluesman.” Acoustic Guitar magazine calls Geremia “one of the best country blues finger-pickers ever.” His latest is titled Love, Murder, & Mosquitoes (Red House). A portion of proceeds goes to the church’s community programs. —T. Ballard Lesemann
