How about some Dangermuffin for Thanksgiving? The roots-rock trio — guitarist Mike Sivilli, singer/acoustic guitarist Dan Lotti, and drummer (and sometimes upright bassist) Steven Sandifer — brings their powerful Americana style to the Pour House for a pre-Thanksgiving jam session. Songs off the band’s debut Beermuda and their latest, an EP titled Emancee, have made their way onto regional college and commercial radio. Even large national music publications like Relix are doling out the love, naming them the winners of April’s “Jam Off” competition. They opened up for Widespread Panic at this year’s Jazz Aspen Festival. A new flagship album is still in the making. The show is free and expect plenty of nourishment from the potluck dinner beforehand. Local strummers Ryan Bonner (and his band) and Stratton Lawrence open the main stage show. Local bluegrass/folk troupe Southern Flavor — Col. George Del Porto (banjo), Anthony Del Porto (bass,), F.B. Del Porto (guitar, mandolin), and Jared Fisher (guitar, mandolin) — perform on the deck from 6-9 p.m. Admission includes holiday fixin's. —Patrick McGinn
