Lots of fun! There are a lot of rides, including a large farris wheel. All kinds of food. My favorite place is the Goose Creek Lions Club Food Booth. It's good food, decent prices, and the profits go back into the community. I also like to hit the agricultural area for local honey and to pet the animals. Plus there is some great people watching to be had. :)
Truly the best cookie you've ever had. The owner, Ashley Swider, has created a new flavor for Halloween - the Pumpkin Cream Cheese and Halloween Sugar Cookie. It's ridiculous. My other favorite is the Abundant Bite - Rich Dark Chocolate with GoJi Berries and Milk Chocolate Chunks.
The was one of the best shows Charleston put on for the up and comming entertainers.
This event will surely flip your dome!
this show kicked ass! the blues didn't start until 10, but kicked solid nonstop (read:no breaks) juke joint boogie ass until the bar had to run people out at 2 am. If you walked around the strip at Folly, it was obvious where the party was.

Trivedi got the A-OK from America's leading philosopher Ken Wilber based on an overwhelming amount of non-human biological and material scientific research. Check out what he had to say here.
recently saw these guys and they f'in rock.....turn off the tv, get off the couch, walk out the door, and go to the show.....best live music i've seen in a long long time.
live painting by Angela Chvarak!
I give Billy Corgan+band 5 stars. However, I DO AGREE with the first comment posted, as far as the MF. It had to be nearing triple digits in there by the end of the show. The mics weren't loud enough during the bands playing, and I went to the mens room once and stood in water from the entryway door throughout the room. All that being said, I still had a DAMN good time!!!!!!!!!
http://www.lyndsaywojcik.com/fr_home.cfm The music speaks for itself!!!
MotorMouth Mabel is the best rock and roll band in Charleston.
Every MMM show that I see is the best MMM show I have ever seen!
Our favorite place in all of Charleston. The atmosphere is so laid back and Carolina Beach you want to kick off your shoes, have some shrimp and a cold one. Their food is all fresh, local and incredible. The owners Ronnie & Kim Johnson go out their way to make everyone feel they are the most important person in the place. Ronnie Johnson may be the best artist in the Southeast much less Charleston. You really got to hear & see his show. To sum it up, this is the place in Charleston for great food, great friends, and fabulous music.
Doug & Carol Howle
Discretion - good stuff - very natural acting - the production is really professional looking. The play makes you a bit uncomfortable because you watch a seemingly good marriage hit the rails when a young, good-looking guy comes into the picture. Worth the $$.
All I can say is, INCREDIBLE!!! This was the best show I have ever seen, entertaining the entire time, and the two of them keep you engaged and focused on their act until the end (which comes much too soon)! It is a two-man variety show, with skits likened to SNL and MadTV. Extremely creative and witty, and the acting is amazing! As intelligent as these guys are, they probably could have made technological leaps and bounds for the world, but their audiences are sure glad they turned to comedy instead! I would not be surprised to see "The Cody Rivers Show" on TV, so go catch the live act while you can!
Unique shows that you won’t see anywhere else!
I have seen this show in it's first "incarnation" at South of Broadway Theater in N. Chuck last October. The religious concepts explored, and their presentation were insightful, amusing and provocative. This Piccolo presentation should be even better considering the additional time Deuce Theatre has had to develop those concepts. Be prepared for the unusual, this performance is more than theater it's an experience.
I saw this play yesterday in preview and it was really, REALLY good. I was completely blown away by the acting and directing. It was a terrific production. The set was fantastic--it looked like a page out of Architectural Digest--very cool. Also, it was a bit sexy so I don't recommend it for under 13. But don't miss this show. It was great. It lasted about an hour and fifteen minutes which in my opinion is just about right for a Piccolo show. It's in Lance Hall which is on the Congregational (Circular) Church on Meeting St. I parked at the Cumberland St. garage which is on Meeting and Cumberland.
