Re: “Riso Noodle House

Love the noodle house. Great people, service, prices and food. They have a very nice variety of asian dishes and lots of great fresh flavors. I love going there.

Re: “TBonz Gill & Grill

Management has it together. Greats you at the door, checks on you, listens. Really a great experience here. I was so surprised to see the level of attention the management and servers have here. Food was very good and good prices. Highly recommend.

Re: “Home Buying Seminar

Great information about buying or selling a home. Renting? If you haven't owned a home in the past three years, you're considered a first time home buyer and there are programs for down payment assistance and other options!

Re: “Charleston Beer Works

The new location is great. Having an outdoor patio to go to out to is great for our running group that meets up there. All the other reviews are out dated and should be removed since they are about it's previous location.

This is Scott from the Charleston Performing Arts Center. This was a GREAT show, but it closed September 25 as planned. Currently we have a wonderful show playing titled "Dream Girls, The Revue". This show's focus is the girl groups of the 1960s ... you'll hear the hits from girl groups like The Shirelles, Martha & The Vandellas, The Supremes, and many more. We tell the story of how the girl group sound started and became THE sound of that decade.

This original music revue has been delighting audiences for weeks and closes on August 28. Get your tickets now by visiting our website or calling our box office.

Great food! Ate there for the first time last week and absolutely loved everything about it. Our waitress was attentive and just as awesome as our food! Definitely will return often. Goal is to try everything on the menu - something yummy each visit!

Re: “Amalfi's Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria

We went to Amalfi's last night.. it was the best food I have ever had the pleasure of eating! The bread comes to the table with a plate of oil and herbs for dipping -- the bread is heavy and filling and tastes so, so good! I got the tomato soup and fettuccine alfredo. The tomato soup was the best I have ever had. It was so creamy and had pieces of tomato in it and just burst with flavor. The fettuccine was so soft and creamy and the best pasta ever. My husband had tortellini, which I tasted, and am not usually a fan of, but again.. Amalfi's did not disappoint!

The vibe was lovely as well as it felt rather intimate/romantic and of course italian. We probably would never have found this place if we hadn't been actively looking for local cuisine in Mount Pleasant and I would agree with the previous reviewer who called it a "hidden gem". I would recommend to anyone who wishes to have a lovely italian meal or a nice date night.

Also, I did want to point out -- it was not overly expensive and actually quite affordable .. for the two of us (no wine or dessert) it was in the $20 range before tax to give you an idea as I understand different people have different understandings of what "affordable" is. Another side note as well.. this was incredibly filling. We would have tried a dessert otherwise.. Will have to try for that next time =)

Re: “Skoogie's

I LOVE Skoogies and we go there on a regular basis, driving all the way from Goose Creek. I know their Chicago style hot dog seems to be quite popular, but my personal favorite is the polish dog with Chili and Mustard (i love the chili!) and my husband gets the roast beef melt. Also, the fries are great too.. and the seasoning ... now I want Skoogies lol.

Re: “Royall Ace Hardware

The neighborhood hardware stores, especially Royal, gives customer service. That is lacking in most big-box stores. Even if a few cents more, the knowledge of the employees is worth it.

Re: “Red's Ice House Seabrook

My wife and I went to the beach with our dog. As we left we wondered if Red's was dog friendly. They were more than dog friendly, they gave us a great seat on the deck and brought our big dog a bowl of water. Almost every customer and server stopped by our table to pay him some attention.

The service and food were really good and the staff were super friendly.

We've been back twice since then for the all-you-can-eat crab legs and loved it. The wait during summer was pretty bad (it never crossed my mind that it was tourist season until we got there), during the off-season we never had to wait for a table.

Comparing the Seabrook location to the Mt Pleasant location it's hard to believe it's the same restaurant, the vibe is so different. The Mt Pleasant Red's is much more "rustic" and like a bar that happens to serve seafood. If that's your thing great, I prefer the more open and airy Seabrook location for it's laid back atmosphere. It's mid July as I write this and I can hardly wait for September, when I plan to be back at Red's.
