Wow, I think this has to be the worst restaurant review I have read from CCP. They are usually able to come up with a couple of nice things to say about a place, especially one that had so much potential. I hope the owners are listening to the pretty consistently horrible reviews they are getting from Yelp, UrbanSpoon, etc. How could a place where they obviously spent a ton of money renovating and is in such a good location miss the mark on the food and service so much? Maybe they can get their shizz together before it is too late.
I have found my devotion to Coleman Public House growing more and more as just about the only place I go to in Mt. Pleasant where I know I will get great food/service. Try them FairGayme if you have not been.
....and she's hot!!
Nitrat- you are way off. Birth center births are much, much cheaper than hospital births, and CBP has many minority customers. This is not a class or race issue- it is a woman's issue. Had you come to the rally at Stern Center Garden, you would have seen many people from every socioeconomic class, race, and ethnicity.
Agreed, went 3 times, trying to give em a shot. Each time progressively getting worse. Literally, the worst "taco" I have ever eaten. I will Scratch them off my ever shortening lists of places to dine in MP.
Great article but one major inaccuracy. It states that Maloney is the only owner occupied house on his block. There are at least 4-5 other owner occupied homes and buildings on this block including me.
While I like the safer feeling of the area - as late as 2006 there was a drugs-related murder on Morris - it's kind of sad to see so much of the character being lost.
Until last spring, there was a nice big park with hundred-year old oaks, a playground, and lots of space right in the middle of Elliotborough - now it's a bulldozed lot being turned into more housing.
As the rest of the civilized world turns to safer bike routes and adding more green space, Charleston is adding new boutique hotels, office space, and housing at a record rate. Way to go, Charleston - you're entering the 90's with all four feet on the ground...
Parks not Parking Garages!
The term "Clemsoning" began well before the Orange Bowl. I should know - been a faithful Tiger since I can remember. Not only that, it refers to a team losing games it should win - not losing "big games."
Ned Hill is right also - Dabo's $2 million salary is not paid from tax payer dollars. It is paid by donors. Perhaps you've heard of IPTAY?
Aside from that, this article is still absolutely absurd.
Well, there is one "Disliker" here who obviously thinks corruption within our solicitor's offices is quite OK. May have been one of the solicitors that clicked the "Dislike" button. We already know Ms. Wilson finds oversight appalling so we need the names of ALL of the thirteen "signers" to be published so the public will be informed of each and every potentially corrupt solicitor come election time.
This is just all forms of ridiculous. Dabo has NEVER once turned a player away because of their religion. Jamie Harper was a Jehova's Witness and treated him the same. I know for a fact that there have been players on that team that were Muslim and Jewish and Dabo treated them the same. Yes, Dabo prides himself in being a Christian, but that's who the man is. You don't have to like Clemson or Dabo, but this form of disrespect is just uncalled for. And the reason why I know these things are because I was on that team.
Dear Mr. Moredock,
You would have sat there with your mouth shut in the midst of a Fraud in progress? oh, that's right, you did. You and the rest of the national, negligent, narcissistic, partisan, lazy, good-for-absolutely-nothing press.
Knowing what we in the public know now, it's hard to believe the others sat there and listened like idiots.
You owe Mr. Wilson an apology.
