Re: “Nikki Haley appoints member of white power organization to campaign

Yes, Ned, any color man can give me facts better than you. I'm a stupid idiot and can't help it cause the Lord made me thus. You can throw me an factual lifeline, but I am too stupid to take hold of it and also lack the initiative. But, to look on the bright side, I'm quite old and will be dying in a decade or so and, maybe the Lord who made me stupid will show me some mercy...not make me wise cause, wisdom is such a burden.

You don't have to be completely amnesiac, do you?

"And racism is a cowards way of avoiding the truth and a desperate attempt to slander & discredit the messenger."

Many times, this is true.

This isn't one of those times.

Re: “Hey Eric Holder ...

Meet the new administration...same as the old administration. Just trade the war in Iraq for a war on the First Amendment.

Re: “Mark Sanford rises from the dead

Mat, I'm with you on the film incentives. As much as I like lower taxes, I want them for everyone; not the government picking winners and losers with subsidizies and favored status for one or two industries. I'm not sure why you claim it's libertarian...that's not something I see many libertarians agreeing with.

"the whole concept of Libertarian ideology is sort of 'every person for themselves'"

I think this is where you get libertarianism wrong in much of your writings. Independence and individualism are great, but so are teamwork and community. Libertarianism isn't about going it alone. It's about non-aggression and making choices of one's own free will. It's skeptical of government because government is legally empowered to violate those principles. Libertarianism isn't so much about humans' relations with each other as it is about their relations with government. It's voluntarism vs force.

Living in the woods, making your own clothes and killing your food doesn't mean you're a libertarian. And giving to charity, eating at restaurants and participating in a community yard sale doesn't mean you aren't one.

Great to see you on the task, Jeff. Trust me when I say I know *exactly* how you feel. Looking forward to running into you next week.
