It seems everyone on this thread disagrees with the reviewer, as do I. I thought the reviewer went to another movie. You could have heard a pin drop at the end of the movie during the credits. The only time I saw that happen was when I saw Shindler's List. This was a powerful, emotional, raw movie. It shows the viewer that war is hell. It revealed to me what these men do for us. The mental anguish they go through. The grueling physical aspects the SEALS go through! I would like to see this movie critic go through that...... How the reviewer could miss the emotion Bradley Cooper showed when he was about to kill his target is mind boggling to me. To read the reviewer, he makes Kyle out to be The Terminator, which is so off left field. I almost got the feeling , while reading the review, that this was a personal vendetta towards this movie. That the critic wants to see the movie fail. Based on this past weekends box office proceeds of $90 million, I don't think that will be the case. But Chris Kyle fought for this critic to write his opinion. And I hope he reflects on that.
I love the Raw Vegan Potlucks! They are a great way to learn new, healthful recipes, and I always leave feeling energetic, not stuffed. Here's a link to the event this month! http://www.meetup.com/Charleston-Veggie/ev…
Tina Fey is brilliant but she did not doom Sarah Palin's political career. Sarah started to be taken seriously and that doomed her. She had to speak to intelligent people on the record. Sarah is ignorant and her after her own party finally acknowledged it, her career tanked. When Fox News decides you're too uneducated to be on the payroll it is time for you to go back to Alaska ( the state she resigned as governor from). BTW- it was her endorsement of Nicki Haley that put Haley over the top of the GOP in SC
A killer? Not a great word to use. Show some respect.
Oh, I get it. You had a bullshit plug for sarah palin, and you needed views, so you slapped Hunter's name on it. I'm sure he'd be proud, you failure.
Wow very impressed with the comments of this guy's review. Sir you have your right to this review but did not see the true store. As an active member of the military ( US Army infantry) and have gone over seas four times, everything that this movie portrays is about 99% right, from they way they enter building, to the way they talked to each other. The line " there are three types of people in this world. The sheep, the wolfs and the sheepdogs" was very true in the case of a lot of us who joined the military. All I ask is you look at the deeper story then just a blood and guts movie. A lot of movies that are baised on someone's death at the end of the movie never shows the death, it's about their life.
Tina Fey is the press?
Welcome Back Southern Charm
The return of Southern Charm is a charm' for those of us who need a break from the dismal "Dreck" in most reality shows today. .It is like a second helping of dessert..
Of course, having the handsome dashing, essence of southern charm and class,Sir Thomas Ravenel and his beautiful classy Lady Love, Ms Kathryn C. Dennis is the cherry on the top of this delicious entertainment Sundae, thanks Bravo !
You can have personal responsibility and still be pummeled by the press.
Don't over-think this one, Danny boy. If the viewer walks away from this film saying to him/herself "Wow!" Then it's a direct hit. If this were a non-fictional war/love movie then I may lean more toward your assessment. But as it stands I think you dropped the ball on this one, brother.
"Her work as Sarah was not only funny it doomed Sarah Palin's political career. "
This is what the Party of Personal Responsibility™ actually believes.
Airbrushing is truly an art. This assembly of degenerates, is a tragic misrepresentation of South Carolina. Have any of you pulled a rolled up hundo out of your deviated septums, long enough to notice that America is pointing and laughing?? Shep, you know better.

ha ha ha very funny to watch Cliven Bundy stop and pick him up some grandma road kill. Will they then pick up chickenhawk pedophile Nugent along the way?
A great american success story. Congrats to Jim Tomsula !!!
Unfortunately i can't wish him too much future success... since i am a Washington fan !
Tina Fey should go down in history as one of the most successful political satirists of all time. Her work as Sarah was not only funny it doomed Sarah Palin's political career. Ensuring that no one will ever take Palin serious again.
Despite the fact that Sarah is an intelligent woman... its ridiculous to even mention as liberals have a field day any time her name is mentioned.
A political cartoonist, whose work would only exist because he or she took money from the state, is not free.
All arts and artists will work on their passion regardless of money from the state. So it will never cease to exist or influence society. If your driven to create.. purely on the need for money, than you might want change your focus.
There is an open and free market for all creators to operate and find a market for their passions.
The state could always just make sure you have a job and money but of course freedom goes out the window..
after all what state wants to pay those that rebel against it?
Painting murals honoring the high overlord and writing anthems to his glory may keep you creating for a living... but at what cost?
This reviewer must have gone to see this movie for the sake of entertainment. American Sniper is not a movie to entertain the masses. This was a movie that paid homage to a hero. Chris Kyle was a good man and a great soldier. He suffered from PTSD, by his own admissions he didn't always deal with it in the healthiest ways, but eventually got on to the path of recovery and dedicated and gave his life to serving his brothers in arms. American Sniper raises awareness of the realities and effects of war on our men and women who serve and their families. Well done Clint and Bradley.
Luv this promo! It's brilliant how she gently tweaks liberals. While hipsters stand on the side of the road, a patriotic woman is going places :)
I think that the real irony here is that a higher gas tax will likely actually hurt Michelin more in the long run than if they had simply fronted the money to personally revamp the roads. Those living with poverty are already far less likely to purchase new tires or replace aging tires in a timely manner. A gas tax hike will make them push their rubber even further, and virtually eliminate their consumption of Michelin tires. Shockingly, I don't think Selleck has thought his cunning plan all the way through.
