Well worth the visit. Some of the best oysters I've had in a long time.
Just had lunch at the GG and can add two things to the previous post:
Pork chops, fried rice and grilled mixed vegetables were absolutely yummy.
The over pouring server has been removed.
That being said, my personal policy is to no longer order mixed drinks anywhere that does not use measuring devices on their liquor, and post the amount measured.
Simply put, I need my license, I don't need a DUI, especially after trying to drink responsibly and stop after two drinks.
These servers that do this over pouring are not doing you any favors; their only interest is to get you more inebriated so you will tip more.
They could give a shit less about the legal problems that may cause you.
So very glad I got to eat the fried chicken and check out this creative and tasty new spot before work pulled me out of Charleston for a few months. It was one of the last things I did before leaving downtown and I can't wait to get back. Best of luck to Brooks and Tim!
Food is outdated and the drinks are not consistent. You can leave in a cab after 2 drinks. Which is great if you're into having a good time in 30 mins or less. If the owners don't change up the menu or the bartenders they may not be in business for long.
wish it was open on Sundays too.
Great local place to go for good beer and good conversation.
A must visit for fresh eats.
I was in the Mt Pleasant restaurant... place smelled like dirty mop water, my arms stuck to the table. Got up and left- pronto!
