Re: “Charleston is still a long ways off from embracing true hip-hop culture

There is a Universal Zulu Nation Chapter here now. Just started in the summer of last year. It is called United Cities Zulus. If you are interested in this topic of bringing back true hip hop culture. check out our fb page: https://www.facebook.com/unitedcitieszulus…
We are also planning a big festival this summer with some of the inspirations from the late 60's to some of the pioneers from the 70's and some new underground artists of today. with workshops, and shows. stay tuned on the page.
peace.

Re: “The life and death of Michael D. Oswald, cop killer

Was his weapon an "assault rifle"? Did it have an option for automatic fire? An "assault rifle" has the ability to fire automatically (firing as long as the trigger is held down) and semi-automatically (firing one shot per trigger pull). Is this the kind of weapon he had? Also, you say he had an "AK-47-style" rifle. This is months after the incident. You had time to dig into his past into his teenage years and yet you couldn't find out what type of rifle it is? Was it an AK-47? An AK-74? An SKS? None of the above? When you use terms like "assault rifle", which you're obviously confusing with the political term "assault weapon" and vague descriptions like "AK-47-style", you're just trying to scare your readers. If you don't know anything about the gun involved, maybe you just should've said "rifle". That's more descriptive and less inflammatory. And Officer Matuskovic is no more dead with this weapon than he would have been with a Winchester rifle.

Re: “Charleston Water System goes to bat for HomeServe

This action by CWS might, just might, lower my water bill. It also reinforces my decision long ago to subscribe to all the coverage offered by HomeServe (exterior water service line, exterior sewer/septic line, and interior plumbing & drainage.

Re: “The Agenda: "Closing fund" grows under Haley; Myrtle Beach's tea party; State of the Union is tonight

Six Million Dollar butt hurt. Bush has been out of office for half a dozen years and up until this month the body of government that approves the money getting spent has been under Democrat control for the last eight years, for a good bit of those years without a budget. And prior to that the money to spend on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were approved by a bipartisan majority. Blowing up brown people who would like to see us dead such as the ones that attacked us on 9/11 is a worthwhile venture that even the left supported even though they forget that they did. The ignorance is astounding but expected.

Re: “Police stop Uber driver citing statewide ban

...meanwhile, a person is being assaulted or a property crime is being committed elsewhere within City limits. The "leaders" of this state certainly do a good job screaming about the (federal) government getting out of the state's business and the benefits of free enterprise, yet they have some serious problems accepting change and progress.

Re: “Clint Eastwood focuses on the wrong parts of Chris Kyle's life in American Sniper

So Alex, not sure you are aware that the screenwriter LIVED with Chris and Taya while working on the screenplay. Chris had full input on the screenplay. Names were changed so surviving family members would not have to relive their loved ones' deaths and have them forever preserved on film. That is why a number of characters are amalgams of fellow service members. The screenwriter also attended Chris' funeral as a guest of the family. How do I know this, he's my brother in law. To say that he took the book and wiped his ass with it is ridiculous. Bless your heart.

Listen, dipshit. You can't continually blame Obama for wasting money while you support conservatives that have no problem spending billions blowing up brown people. The hypocrisy is astounding. And expected.
