It's gonna be a landslide in November. Dems will take back the Senate for sure, and maybe even the House.
We have been called the "friendliest city" not the "perfect city". I don't believe any municipality could earn that award.
Totally agree, and found our time in Charleston riddled with guilt... friendliness is not enough when a huge amount of your neighbors are in desperate need, Friendliness in not enough in the face of public schools systems failing kids and I would love to see more honest journalism expose the actual needs in the greater Charleston area to create a fulfilling large community of citizens that all benefit from the commercial/tourist opportunistic accolades that may bring tax revenue and help local business -- but Charleston's layered levels of neglected sectors need focus and care and cure and the entire community will benefit...ignore this type of journalism and the problems at your peril...
This is an excellent development... This company had no right to deny him benefits. When officer Slager is acquitted I hope the city is prepared for THEIR lawsuit. Maybe they can get part of the Six Million from the family back to pay Slager's award.

Well Stephanie, if you really think that way, maybe you should do something to actively change it instead of passively writing hateful articles. For one, I smile and say hi to people all the time, I help lost looking people on the street, and have offered rides to more than a few people in town.
What a sourpuss!! Try living in NYC or any other city up North!
