This place is incredible. So original, so fun, and sooooo delicious. I can't recommend it enough. A must try.
By far the best wing in Charleston!
When was the last time the health department stepped inside this place...possibly sometime during the Nixon administration?
The worst restaurant on Folly. Used to be great but since change of owner it has tanked.
Don't bother trying.
The reputation of the Oyster Festival has been getting poorer and poorer over the past few years. Why go all the way over there, sit for hours in traffic (in and out), pay an incredible price for just a few oysters, and wait in long, long lines for the honor of being fucked? Save the trip, go locally, and have hot oysters and good beer that dows not require a mortgage on your home?
Taco Boy is the best restaurant ever! Best restaurant in Folly next to Woody's Pizza (right down the road). All these people complaining are whiny, overweight, cheap, tourists. Seriously all these out-of-state people are such snots coming to our small beach towns looking for a vacation like the Caribbean. This is Folly, chill out if your taco was salty. People live and die here, and you're here for a weekend complaining that we don't kiss your feet. People are just trying to live and chill out. Tourists need be respecting that. I don't even know why they're in Folly if they don't like Taco Boy. Taco Boy saved a Guatemalan orphanage from a pack of rabid Iguanas, how cool is that, right? If you want to be a bum don't go to Taco Boy. People are saying go to Taco Bell instead and all I gotta say to them is, yes, go. Because we don't need you to foul the atmosphere of Folly and Taco Boy. I've eaten dog food, and it was better than Taco Bell. All these tourists need to suck in their gut, and relax a little. Sorry we can't please your every demand and taste bud.
Tourist haters probably think I'm the manager or that I work there or something, but nope. I'm just a guy who found out that people are hating on his favorite restaurant in the world and I got upset. I just live here, man. You don't. I would highly recommend Taco Boy to friends and family of all ages and intellects if you want some fun and good food. Disagree? Your loss you condescending, patronizing, and socially exclusive degenerate. Eat at Taco Boy. Enjoy Folly. Stay Gnarly. Don't be a whiny grommet. Order the guac.
Kyle and Jessie are still the best. Shrimp po boy beyond excellent as is the ceviche, scallop po boy and lobster roll. Great oysters and real nice selection. I always start off my meal with a dozen. Still one of my favorite places to go for lunch.
We went to Trayce's on Saturday Night (19 Sep 2015) to listen to some Jazz and Funk by Louie D Project. The staff is excellent as well as the other customers. Louie D did not disappoint and we had a great evening.
Thanks for making our first visit to Trayce's a fantastic and memorable time. It felt like we had spent the evening with old friends.
P.S. - Order the nachos, you will not be disappointed nor will you leave hungry.
Great times. When are the 2015 dates?
We arrived early and enjoyed watching the various events and then the parade. We left after that and it seems like it was a good thing to leave then from the reviews I have read. When we left there was about 1,000 cars parked and more were coming in. Glad we got there early and left early.
Best escargot in Charleston. Great atmosphere!
Ate lunch today, the food was fantastic if you like good home cooking. Price runs between 7 and 10 dollars per person. Friendly staff and good service. I had the pork chop and it was great.
No real review but was wondering if this is the restaurant owned and or managed by Sharon Doughty (don't know Sharon's married name)?
Thank you so much.
An old school friend, Kathi Jacobs Fodor
Very laid back atmosphere with great food and attentive staff. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!
Absolutely disappointing! Where to begin..... First each year the selection and prices for USED items is insane! Stains, rips, buttons missing, zippers then guess what... to bad, no returns or exchanges. And the kicker....No children under 12 unless they are strapped down to a carrier? Good luck finding one of those for a 7 year old! Sorry to tell you people, but the messiest children are the ones strapped down in a stroller! They are the children eating and grabbing your "precious" inventory! I have never in my lifetime been to a place for children's items where your child isn't welcome. Absolutely insane! This is not stated on their webpage. Honestly they would probably sell more of that junk if they allowed children (by them begging for toys etc). No money out of my pocket. I will never go back there, ever! I will choose to spend my money where all children are welcome! If you allow any children at all, all children should be welcome or no children at all. Absolutely insane!
Ordered a Big Joe BBQ sandwich and a cup of water in Mount Pleasant. Cashier says, that will be $10.85. Explained that the order was for the sandwich only, not a basket or combo with sides. Cashier says, that will be $10.85. Asked if the mustard based sauce contained 24kt gold, then downgraded to a $6 cheeseburger. The Bessinger Family continues to get greedier and greedier as the years pass by. Hopefully, they will offer a finance plan for the lunch menu sometime in the near future so potential investors do not go around hungry.
Great people and great service. I recommend highly.
Me Like. Plain, simple and unassuming but yet the food quality to back up a 4=star rating. Pricing is very fair for a lunch without having to shell out lots of dough.
This ia an awesome showcase of young raw talent. Losdahost is excellent. The talent is amazing. Everyone needs to see these hidden treasures of youth and expression. There is nothing subjective about the Art going on here is REAL Talent, and greatest forms of expression. Bentleys is great venue and appreciate them lending their venue to display all these artists.
I went to this restaurant for my anniversary as I had heard it was a very nice place. Imagine my surprise when my steak was served to me. You could still see the marks where the jockey had been hitting it. I will not return.
