With all of the great dining options that Charleston offers, Restaurant Week gives me and my husband a chance to try places and foods that are new to us. We have had great service at every restaurant we have tried and have yet to be disappointed in the food. We went out Sunday, January 12, for dinner at Blossom and enjoyed everything. Unfortunately, prior to our reservation at Blossom, we stopped in to Cypress for a cocktail and an appetizer, the bartender had no problem expressing his negative opinion of restaurant week. I understand the discontent at having lower total sales therefore lower tips, but for the hour that my husband and I were at his bar we were the only customers so due to Restaurant Week, the bartender made a bonus $10 tip ($35 check) off of people that would not have been there on a normal Sunday evening. Every dollar counts, not just for those receiving the tips, but for those giving the tips as well.
I agree that The Wall is not Pink Floyd's best album, but c'mon man! It is definitely up there. As for the movie, it is definitely not boring. Sure, it is a movie that you need to watch more than once to really pick up on the symbolism, but I think that is what is great about it. I recently saw Roger Waters The Wall in concert and it was hands down the most incredible show I have ever seen and I have been to plenty of great shows. Chris, I think you need to check yo'self before you riggidy wreck yo'self.

Nice work. Your map is of North Center Street in North Charleston.
Food was very tasty and the atmosphere was very family-style. However it would have been nice to have an option for more than one turkey wing. It was a nice family style meal, but there was a very limited amount of food available (unless you were buddies with the chef like the table next to us was). Also, they could have made more money on beer and wine if they offered more then just a drink when you were first seated. All and all, I don't think it was really worth the money; a nice dinner out but not worth the money.

I am biased for I know the music director as a house mate and know how much he puts into it. That said I bought the album for my brother as a Christmas gift when it came out in 1969 so I had listened to it many times. I had never seen a staged production of it, now I have. The actors and musicians brought Tommy to life with emotive singing and dancing, I felt the musicians kept the score driving and moving through all facets, folk to hard driving rock. I saw opening night and I'm going to see another. I paid to get in also no comps for being a house mate.
