Technically, The Cardinal James Show is made up of Steven Cardinal and Charlie James, rather than a "him" called Cardinal James.
Bella Vita premiered in Charleston on September 17th at the Terrace Theater. Is this an oversight or does the free admission price include a ride in a time machine back to the magical evening when this film DID premiere?
This was terrible. You pay $15 then have to stand in a line for about 45 minutes to get a beer. The demand wasn't managed well at all.
We had a blast. working out as a family!

Be part of the fun!
I've seen several very good plays at the Dock Street, but play can not be described as a "bigger-than- life comedy". Far from it! My family and I went to see it last night and the only laughter we heard were a few snickers here and their from the plain BAD acting and delivery of the lines. I can't believe all these actors were so bad, so I blame the director. They were trying TOO hard and over acting to the point that it wasn't funny in the slightest. We walked out at intermission as did several people around us. Don't waste your money, folks. Sorry, but to quote a line in the play, "it STINKS!"
Good event could only sample 4, portions were more then a taste. Nice venue for this type of event though it might have been more comfortable indoors with air conditioning. Stayed till 8:30 would have stayed longer to enjoy the music if there were tables to sit at. Will do it again next year.
I agree with the previous reviewer--for the price, the wine selection and quantity was disappointing. The people pouring wine kept saying "just a sip"--for $25 there were four tickets--one ticket per 'sip', which was four sips! Add that to the quality of the wine (Yellowtail Shiraz and similar), and clearly this was not a 'wine' event as advertised. Charge $10 and forget the wine (and standard, run-of-the-mill wine glass). This was the first year, so next year might be better. The food and music were good, so the event has some potential, but the wine aspect should be seriously improved or dropped altogether (with a concomitant lowering of price).
Highly Disappointed! Magnolia, Reggae & Wine sounds like a home run event.Very disappointed: Wine "tastings" wait line is highly offensive to wine drinkers / winos. Why would you say "wine" in your title if you are going to serve it to us like children. Give us one full glass and be done with it. Second, and most important is your event area size and ratio to people coming to your event. Give up the entire field so we aren't crammed into a picnic area with thousands of people. Third, So we are crammed into this area with bad wine, long vendor lines(ran out of "jerk" chk) & People with CASH were able to jump ahead in line because ticket holders were not important enough since we bought them ahead of time. Our family of 4 spent over $60 compared to other Reggae event which is $10 per vehicle. Its is the same amount of music time for both events but huge difference in quality. We love Magnolia & we are annual ticket holders but your event didn't do Magnolia justice. My wife and I were so disappointed(She loves reggae and LOVES wine.
I don't think the 1-4 PM event, the "Family Friendly Beer Fest" is still scheduled.
