Kinda ironic he done a restaurant redo in Chapin called it Sweet Tea , It failed quickly I would like to see the statistics on how many he redoes makes it.
Southern Charm, Hopefully "You'All" came to your collective senses and increased
Your Stars Salaries, (Sir Thomas Ravenel and his Lady Love, Ms.Kathyrn Dennis) to appear on the
Next awaited with baited breaths , by the way-Season Opener of Southern Charm
If not please remember, the other cast members "pale" in comparison in
class, beauty and presence....looking foward to a breath of elegance, romance and
Glimpses of that sweet beautiful baby....Other reality shows
Are becoming absolute utter trashy, dismal and rather unpleasant and uniformed.
The political angle of hopefully having Mr. Ravenel run and win political office
Should be timely and interesting, at his worst, he is heads above some of the characters our county has running now.....(Spoken as a former President-Elect and
Board Member of The League of Women Voters in Jacksonville Florida)
I think the main point is, there is alot of good hip hop music out there meaning, insightful lyrics, good production and integrity. But unfortunately we dont here this on the radio and since that's where the majority of individuals get their music, their reference point for hip hop is awful...Im a hip hop head, rather I'm a music head, I listen to everything from Dead Kennedy's to Dela Soul, this being said I appreciate good music, live music or sampled based music(when it's done creatively)..Good hip hop as opposed to RAP in my opinion would be artist like, MF DOOM, The Roots, J Cole, Lupe Fiasco, Common Sense, Shabazz Palaces and I could go on and on...Like all music there is a commercial side (RADIO) and there is a underground true head scene. Granted I am a little older so Im sure that im not as up on it as I use to be, but I try to keep up with whats fresh and up and coming...
All their new songs suck. They have ventured into the teen pop world. They used to really have some great tunes
Dude, "The Red Balloon" is a fucking great film.
A few of us have done our part! We held shows of local talent and pushed new music in their face. Some of us are even giving the music side of it a good name! There isn't a market here in Charleston. But hip hop is underground! I'm ok with that. We will keep on weather or not it's played in a nightclub.
Kinda funny since one of his namesake Hilton Head restaurants, EAT, closed.
"The owners of Nason Medical Center will pay $1 million to settle allegations by federal prosecutors that the urgent care center chain submitted false claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE..."
Fraud, wastefulness and inefficiency in private healthcare? Unpossible! But yet single payer would be an abomination because of fraud, wastefulness and inefficiency. If you think it's expensive now, wait til its free LOLZ am I right libs?!
Hip-hop culture? What a joke.
There is no culture in the US other than commercial culture. Period.
No way Robert Ford would not have been the next mayor of Charleston.
GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!
A few ladies have also signed up for the show, you know, if that's your thing.
If you're waiting for the "powers that be" to embrace hip-hop, you've got a long wait. The establishments that "siphon off our cool for their own financial benefit" are no more committed to Katy Perry than they are Mystical. They're committed to their bottom line. It's up to the hip-hop community to establish itself in Charleston. Step up.

This was a great read KJ! Looking forward to more from you. The culture of hip hop is like a big tree with branches extended and created subcultures. It's kind of complex to determine what of these branches should be immersed with the base or intertwined with the root. It's a complex formula that hasn't been perfected (not in Charleston anyway).
Had an outstanding meal here last week. Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to try new, interesting and fun food. The service was great and all in all one of the highlights of our trip! Can't wait to come back and try the new dishes as chef mentioned they change weekly.
Ben Tillman was an evil Democrat.
"What rescues this killer from himself, ultimately, is saving fellow veterans, but there are those who can’t be saved, and while Eastwood is willing to glance in that direction, he doesn’t quite have the courage to go all the way into the dark. The director might say the event in question was too close, personally and chronologically, but there was a chance to be taken and he missed it ... None of that erases the scourging sadness of all that has preceded it in this great and terrible film." -- Ty Burr
Every single person mentioned in this article deserves our gratitude for every single beer-related thing we enjoy here. Great feature, and it is great to see all of them doing good things now.
Just ate here for the first time tonight and will definitely be back! Pho bowl and Bibimbap were awesome, finally some good steamed buns!!!!! This is a great addition to Mt. Pleasant.
