Great theater on Folly Road. Heart and soul is poured into each show. Great vocal talent. Wine and beer for purchase!
your opinion about sony a jap owned company may very well hit the nail on the head,so to speak. japan may very well be afraid of the nut cases running the hermit nation. considering japan is the only country on earth that has ever had to rise from the ashes of a thermo-nuke devise, definitly a reason for reflection and in many respects pussy-out. I quess most of the hari-kari inclined men are long since gone. thank god

Alexandre just schooled you. We are def just not a Tech Hub but just a Tech Hub wannabee. More like a sillycone harbor.
I am really really hoping Fidel Castro is dead. Hes always been such a humongous asshole. Hooray for dead Castro. For all of my friends and business associates in La Pequeña Habana Miami; Castro chupa bolas de cabra!
I concede your point on the tenure matter, but I stand by the rest of my comment.
"How much do I understand about the education system?" Well, I'm still in it after all these years, so I'll have to get back to you when it ends. I'll reply in this thread in two years and maybe you and I can schedule a Huddle House™ meet-up during my office hours.
Prong, how much do you understand about the education system? PhD means she got her research approved, no more. I have Masters in two distinctly different disciplines and I achieved that while being the idiot I prove to be here on a regular basis. I've found that in most cases tenure is more political than quality-driven, just look at the mountain of lunacy published by "tenured PhDs". I stand by my use of dilettante. And personally I don't find her " a thoughtful woman," usually I find her patronizing and shrill.
Ima, I like what Harrison Ford's son said to his class "My daddy is a movie actor, and sometimes he plays the good guy, and sometimes he plays the lawyer." My feelings exactly.
"The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers" from Henry VI. Although I fear Shakespeare was fond of them, hence the line was uttered by "Dick"
In most cases cia I would agree, although the assumption of guilt on the coach's part is bothersome, but if, for argument's sake, the coach truly believes he did nothing racist he must defend himself. In a state where a large percentage of High School football players are Black being labeled racist is a sure death sentence for a career in coaching.
I like the brew idea when wheeling my basket around bumping into aisle blockers. How about 2 or 3 brews? Won't even care what the family loads into the basket and I have to fork out for if they will up it to 4 -5 brews.
I am also looking forward to that day trollslayer. I could expand the Royal Reefer Emporium I am currently developing for DT into a small boutique type affair within Whole Foods. I believe most of the in a big hurry housewives of Mt P that frequent Whole Foods would benefit greatly from a little puff puff pass and a brew while shopping.
Spot on leemajors. The toddler reaction...I didnt do it, he did. Silly litigation that wastes taxpayers money. Even sillier litigators that waste taxpayers money. Just my opinion of course, all you silly litigators that might want to sue me for having a f-ing opinion. Please direct all legal matters and inquiries thru my trusted legal advisor, Mr. Fishpimp.
Kinsey, why not take Cid95's suggestion and do a article on the local source or not on shem creek? I am curious as to who actually does locally source and helps support the neighborhood they work in. Don't be afraid to call them out on it -make enemies - that is a good food critic's job and kind of fun- its not all marvelous Sean Brockiness - theres a lot of horrid nasty Guy Fieris. Question all of the restaurants in the general area. Don't just call them and ID yourself, go in and pretend to be a tourist and casually ask, then call them up or confirm with the local source. Do all of the restaurants and then if they are not sourcing local let us know so we can paint their windows black and block their view of the creek. Don't buy from it then can't look at it.
Don't be silly PH, thats one of the chefs.
1. The one who is still alive talked. To the grand jury. And forensic evidence corroborated what he said. If Michael Brown had simply gotten on the sidewalk he would still be alive.
2. Eric Gardner was out on bail and was breaking the law. A silly BS misdemeanor, sure, but he was still breaking the law. When you are out on bail you don't break the law. It was four cops to take in a very large man who was resisting arrest. If he had gone peacefully in all likelihood he would have been out in a couple of hours or if not out he would still be alive.
3. Tamir was given enough time to pull a weapon out of his waistband and brandish it. If someone whips out a gun and points it do you expect the other guy to wait and see who shoots first? If he had raised his hands he would still be alive.
4. Crawford and the guy in Columbia were victims and we should treat them as such. I would much rather see protests over those cases, those would at least be justified.
It's our favorite pastime to become incredibly defensive when you are called out for racist bullshit.
American as apple pie.
This thread still completely works even if you can't figure out if what's here is what was missing or if what was missing still isn't here.
I'm checking to see what happened, but I do not believe anyone on staff censored the comment. There was certainly nothing objectionable. I found it in the "pending" folder, which is odd. If one of us pulls a comment, it doesn't go into that folder. It's quite possible that the web service we use has changed settings and for whatever reason, your post was flagged.
++ Goodness right up there!
The Cuba decision is a good one, and within the scope of he Executive branch. Obama does a lot of stupid shit that's bad for the US, but this is a good move. Credit where credit's due.
