Re: “On feminism and fun in the Archie Comics series

I often say that when Archie speaks people listen. Again and again I hear Archie has been part of one's childhood, without Archie one's childhood would not be complete.

How does the Archie / Betty / Veronica love triangle fit into your feelings on feminism? I could not let your article go without bringing a few thoughts to light.

Betty is an all around capable, get-things-done person. She is everyone's model regardless of sex. Here at Archie we know our fans ( children & adults), be they digital subscribers, hard copy subscribers, or retail. We are proud to say we are genderless. Archie has been a brand propelled by readers worldwide, regardless of gender, beliefs, or personal preferences. All are not just welcome to the conversation, they are essential to it.

As for Veronica, I do not over look her perceived shallowness and indulgences, but she has my back. I entered the business world just 5 years ago, and quite naturally I was looking for mentors - even if they were fictional. Veronica has what I call the CIA in her - Confidence, Intelligence and Allure. Under the tutelage of her high power business tycoon father Hiram Lodge she performs well in the boardroom as well as the classroom.

Veronica and Betty have truly been trail blazers - not just for women, but for us all. They have taught us life long values. Archie, Betty, Veronica, and the rest of the population of Riverdale have endured in the hearts and minds of children of all ages because they continue to reflect the best in us. Archie and his friends and their families continue to bring a smile and an occasional tear to generation after

generation. I'm so very glad you took they time to pay a visit to my exhibit. As an Archie collector it reflects my passion and I'm proud to have it exhibited in libraries throughout the United States Thank you.

Re: “On feminism and fun in the Archie Comics series

Archie comics are some of the most enduring and best comics out there. And no, you don't have to be a kid to enjoy them. They even have a zombie themed off shoot series called the Afterlife With Archie which started in 2013. At Park Circle Comics we always have a good response when we get a new batch of Archie Comics in stock.

When you deleted the line that was inaccurate, Melissa, you missed the "A"

Re: “David Letterman's end date of The Late Show announced

I still say Colbert's show will struggle, if not crash and burn, once people realize he isn't going to do the character from the Report anymore.

Re: “David Letterman's end date of The Late Show announced

good research, Melissa. Leno followed Carson, not Letterman

Re: “Charleston Stage pays homage to feminist and abolitionist Sojourner Truth

There is much to be learnt from the time which Sojournertruth worked, lived, and endured life in and around New York. Within the new book entitled Clash of the Prophets the full story of Sojournertruth and her New York years are presented.
If you have any interest in knowing more about Sojournertruth then you are very welcome to visit my web site at:

This is a true story full of melodrama, and Christian delusion as the battle between the forces of good and evil present themselves fighting for the minds, bodies, and spirits of all involved within the Zion of Prophet Matthias!

Re: “Bravo picks up "Southern Charm" for second season

Thank You Santa !
Having Thomas Ravenel and his beautiful and elegant lady Love, Kathryn and their sweet sweet
Baby Girl, will give "Southern Charm" it's main ingredient of classy and exquisitely dressed beautiful people ....These two have more class and elegance and true southern breeding in just
their proverbial "little fingers" than the whole cast put together...I for one recognize
and find them both to be so refreshing and inspiring and make Southern Charm
a slice of life that is missing from our so-called "Modern life" as unpolished, impolite
and "TMI" it is at present day.....Thanks Santa for Bravo and the return of Southern
Charm some of us really do "Give A Dam!".....

Re: “Park Circle Film Society participates in Day of Giving

"The film society asks for people to post on social media, share via personal/business websites or other Internet channels"

Well, alright, since you asked. I saw that 22 Jump Street film and Channing Tatums is just a bit much. I mean, I fucking hate the guy. I want to hate fuck the guy. He is a terrible actor. Quite handsome and muscular though. The ladies seem to love him. I sometimes wonder if my disdain is actually jealousy. Most likely. But then again his brand is catering to the lowest common denominator of American Society. So maybe it's legitimate disdain. Muscles! Explosions! Farts! America! Anyway, what were we talking about?
