Awesome venue, top-notch service & staff. I dig the set-up.
The DJ is attention commanding with a unique, badass personality.
All in all, right on experience!
Best Caf and small live music venue to open its doors to Charleston in 10 years, at least. Garrett is the very hard working owner that practices what he believes, and Heather, as well as many of the other employees, make this place more welcoming than most of the customers deserve.
These are great people doing a great thing, really..., because they just love it. I wish and hope nothing but the absolute best for all of them, as well as the business itself. I know I support them as often as possible and so should everyone else. This is the type of place that defines Charleston, the kind of place tourists imagine visiting and experiencing when they come to visit. The Caf is what it is without pomp or that aloof hipster entitlement.
They like good beverages, comfortable furniture and great music, and they want to share it all with you...just walk in and let them. You'll feel better for doing so because you will be better for doing so.
great jam session on thursday night i love oscar rivers on the piano he is amazing
Open jam is a great way to spend Saturday evenings enjoying wonderful varieties of music and great company. Each week students bring new and improved talent to the stage for their audience. Not only do students learn how to play through lessons, but Open Jam and the staff have helped build self confidence in these rising stars.
I apologize if there was a misunderstanding. Those tickets were given to us, as sponsors of the SC Bulls football team. The tickets printed were for the first game of the season, which was cancelled. The tickets, we were assured, will be honored at any home game this season, just present them at the gate. We are not in the habit of making fools of people, and care greatly about our customers. If there is a problem with them, come see me (Smokey) and we'll make it right. Again, my apologies.
Did not appreciate being your childish prank with expired tickets by doing a dance off. I'm a better person than that and only had the intention to have a good time by going to karaoke, not to be humiliated. If this is how you treat people, maybe the comedy house could use you and find your cruel humor funny. I pray for people like you because there are those who are not taught nor raised to understand the terms, "Respect and Consideration for others feelings". There is such called Karma and what you do to others, always comes back to you.
Anthony Carter and Matthew Castelleano host open mic now and they are amazing! They just need some ppl to come play and give them breaks ;)
great and relaxing!
If you want to listen to some guy run his mouth and play background music by all means go here.
If you want to sing and hear singers go elsewhere.
40 minutes and only 4 singers up is pathetic.
Where do all of these egomaniac amateur would be disc jockeys come from?
