Re: “Thank you for my beautiful life

Alison - thank you for being the most eye opening professor I came across during my time as a CofC student and the reason why I minored in Womens and Gender studies. Your words will not be forgotten. A beautiful life indeed. - Gillian Nicol

Re: “Jeff Cook wants to sell your house if you're moving to Canada because of Trump or Clinton

If you're serious about moving north, here's how to do it http://15miles.info/move-to-canada/ You're going to want to do some immigration paperwork before you put your house on the market

You're right. I can't be what I was so I better start being just what I am.

Re: “Blotter: Manicures in jail

Yes he was responsible, others would simply have done nothing and waited until the next morning to see if one of his neighbors was dead. You never made a mistake in your life?

A boycott is a boycott no matter how large or small because principles are principles.

I'm comfortable with my decision.

"Charleston sure does love a good tribute concert."

And yet, every single time I mention my Fugazi cover band idea, all I get is crickets.

Re: “Thank you for my beautiful life

What a breathtakingly honest and humbling article. I really respected you as a professor while at Vandy. Seeing you become a mother now and facing what you're facing only increases my admiration of you. I don't believe I could be as poised as you've been. You're thought of and prayed for often. I do believe there is a heaven and I have faith I'll see you there!

Re: “Thank you for my beautiful life

Alison, you have created a legacy for your family and friends that will always live in their hearts. You are brave, you are honest, and I know you are loved. I am only a follower of yours, but I've lost two very close people to brain tumors, and both of their passings were serene and calm. May your courage continue in those you love, and know that people you didn't know existed are thinking of you and sending their love. I hope the way you lived your life is a comfort for those who will feel your absence, and be reassured that your kindness will never cease to be. Laurie Notaro, Oregon

Re: “Cool off with beer news Revelry and Holy City, plus Ghost Monkey and Two Blokes openings

Oh, no! Pronghorn will be telling everyone to boycott Revelry. EVERYONE that listens to pronghorn will stop buying Revelry beer until they meet his disclosure demands.

Also: shame on you, City Paper, for treating this story just like every other story. How dare you do things normally?

Re: “West Ashley bike lane narrowly survives City Council vote

Can't wait to see how much this reduces auto traffic now that everyone can ride their bikes to work. Hopefully City Council is adding additional bike racks to handle what's sure to be a massive influx.

Thank you for your response, Kinsey. I apologize for saying that the Charleston City Paper was engaging in shameful behavior.
