Great article but there are a whole lot more laws in South Carolina you need to talk about

Re: “Confessions of a Southern Charm Newbie: Season 4 Premiere

If Thomas marries Landon, he'll be taking a chance all right.
There are serious emotional and mental issues and her recent past that doesn't require much digging.
It really is not surprising considering how gleefully she imparts her misery on others.
There's more to this story!

Re: “Two years after Walter Scott’s death, what has changed?

Erik, thanks for the response.

I did state that none of the incidents, initially, should lead to a death sentence. The officer is expected to follow a set of rules that lead to an escalation of force, ultimately leading to lethal force. If the person interacting with police does not 'Check off the boxes' on that escalation list, the officer cannot legally resort to the use of deadly force.

"The officer murdered Walter Scott and planted his taser." This was discussed in court and will be part of what any potential jury must think upon when determining if the officer is justified or not in the next trial. My comments relate to what happened PRIOR to the shots being fired.

Re: “Two years after Walter Scott’s death, what has changed?

But does the police have the right to be judge, jury and executioner. You seem to be missing this point. Walter Scott murdered this man and then tried to cover up his crime by planting the taser next to his body. What law says a police officer can do this? Respect truly is a two way stree, but unfortunately, it's a one way road for Walter Scott and dozens of crooked cops across this country.

Please do not cover this show. These are awful people, and the show will exploit this beautiful city. Jersey Shore was a disaster for us, please learn from NJ's error.

Re: “The Man Who Made Me a Performer: Andy "Smoky" Weiner remembers local blues guitarist, Nik Pappas

Even though Nik Pappas taught me much about blues guitar and musicianship, I couldn't have written a more beautiful tribute, Andy. Believe it or not, I also learned a lot from you, as well, during that period. I loved Nik, as I love you, my brother. I hope we get to play some music and remember Nature Boy together, someday soon.
