Re: “The Agenda: Clinton accepts nomination; More downtown hotels; DOT staffers in corruption flap

So, not only do we have lots and lots of guys leaning on shovels while one or two actually work, but the contractors who hired them are in the "fix", as well as the DOT folks who got kickbacks. Nice to see it is business as usual with the SC Highway Dept. Maybe some day one of our governors will do something about it.

Re: “Delegate blog: Bill gets personal and Obama passes the baton

"Bill gets Personal", oh yes indeed he sure does. He's also got a baton that he would like to pass along to a few of the new interns once he gets settled in at the White House.

Re: “Delegate blog: Bill gets personal and Obama passes the baton

Trayvon Martin wasn't killed due to police violence. Michael Brown's mother shouldn't have been there as his killing was justified by the DOJ, and where are the father's of those killed? As for Obama, he said previously that hillary wasn't fit for the presidency. Was he lying then or now?

Re: “Federal prosecutors provide details following motion to dismiss Dylann Roof’s charges

Ask yourselves these questions: which prosecutor's office can put this guy to death easier? which office has the most to gain, and the most to lose by ceding jurisdiction to the other? And is your local prosecutor up for re-election anytime soon?

Re: “Dylann Roof federal trial to draw from local jury pool

Pronghorn, so 28 people were executed last year and that makes you ashamed to be a an American. Seems like a million abortions would bother you too but I doubt it does. The hypocrisy is amazing. You sound like a giant P#$$y.

Wouldn't you want to be defended if you were on trial.

I don't understand why they're trying so hard to defend this murderer.

Re: “Editor's Note: On mentors and a little red wagon

Congrats. Much better than being a food critique who is too nice to say a place sucks. I hope you do not start editing my bad language and mean spirited restaurant comments (That are always true). I have no niceness left in me for places that suck or even semi suck and I won't pretend.

Re: “Charleston County Council will consider resolution opposing assault weapons

I am disappointed to hear that your city is even considering a ban on any weapon when it is a violation of the 2nd amendment right. When did a city have the right to change the constitution to be a PC City? I spend about 5 weeks a year in your city each year and if the passes you have lost all the money I send there. I am ashamed of the city of Charleston and the State of South Carolina. Your pay cut is in your hands enjoy and I will be passing this information on to all of my friends and everyone I meet while traveling around as to how un-American your city has become.

Re: “New study finds racial and gender disparity among S.C. judges

Really? How absolutely shocking!! I am horrified and taken aback by this info. I would never suspect SC as being waaaayyyy behind the times or having a lack of diversity in Judicial appointments. Number 47 out of 50 you say? As Prong would say, Thank God for Mississippi. They always prevent us from finishing last. Take it further Dustin. How diverse is the Judicial Merit Selection Commission?

Have you ever been to a political event at the Presidential level? They don't fuck around with security measures.

Re: “Delegate blog: A behind the scenes look at the Democratic National Convention

John- Brady is a delegate w/ the S.C. delegation who is writing as a guest blogger from Philadelphia. So, he's not a " REPORTER" or even a regular ol' reporter. This post was written before things got started on Monday.
