Dr Hensel was voted best plastic surgeon 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012! He was featured in cosmopolitan magazine in 2012 and 2013 as SC Outstanding Plastic Surgeon! Featured in Glamour, Allure and Self magazine as Premier plastic surgeon in SC! Was on MTV true lives and also featured on an episode of "The Doctors" that aired twice in 2010! Help us make sure Dr. Hensel carries on his title in 2013 as Charleston's BEST PLASTIC SURGEON for the 6th year in a row!!!!!

Dear fb friends. Please vote for Dr Hensel as the 2012 Best Plastic Surgeon. I have 8 years on seriously concentrated experience as an aesthetics professional and 10 years of working in emergent and critical care with physicians. Dr Hensel has a genuine character, excellent patient bedside manner, the gifted eye as a plastic surgeon, a personally set standard of excellence and a super nice person. Dr Hensel is the best and truly deserving of the recognition.

I got a regrettable tattoo there drunk. Not only did they know I had been drinking, but they referred me to go ”wait” a few hours at the bar across the street to pass the time while I waited. I woke up the next day, not only with a massive hangover, but with a tattoo I didn't remember getting.

Luckily I found a professional shop in the area. They actually care about the work they send out their doors, and fixed the fuck up I got at blue gorilla/pepper shade (what ever name these money hungry douche bags want their stores to be called).

I've gotten two of my nine from BG, the others are from out of state, and the packing, shading, and general design are great. Far exceeding a few of my Savannah counterparts and even Boston counterparts. Great service, great artists, very professional even when half of me nearly fell off the table because he hit a severely messed up nerve from an old injury that I didn't know was so close to the surface. When I went in, I didn't have to wait. Of course this was pre-Wayne so, I'm sure there's a list now. But I would wait for the quality.

I have to give a SHOUT OUT to Hendricks Honda of Charleston on Savannah Highway. I just bought a used car from them, and although my plans kept them running in circles, Matt Agosto, a Manager there, remained his wonderful friendly self throughout the process (which stretched over a week) spending hours trying to get me the deal I wanted. A young salesman, Mark Groetsch, was also always friendly, polite and enthusiastic about helping me. These were two sincere, caring, patient salesman, not what one might expect in a car dealership. How about that? THANK YOU GUYS...I LOVE MY CAR!!

I went to BG and setup an appointment, the wait time was reasonable (1 week for an appointment) and the staff was very nice. I had chuck as the artist and I am very happy with the tattoo i recieved. BG is also very clean, i was shocked to see that they dispose of needles in an appropriate sharps container. I would highly recommend BG to anyone. As for the prices, they are fair, it was a good price for a good tattoo job. I will be going back there to get more work done, since this is one of the very few shops that have impressed me.
