Surfing evokes the passion from the inner most recesses of your soul and takes you to a place of complete balance. Surfing brings meaning to a world full of chaos. Surfing takes you to a place of nature, truth, adventure, challenge, serenity, excitement, privacy and love. You rather surf than eat. You rather surf than sleep. You rather surf than celebrate a holiday. Surfing is a way of life. How do I know this? Cuff. How do I feel this? Cuff. How do I understand this? Cuff. Sometimes when we feel so strongly about something and that passion is awakened, we speak without looking past the end of our own nose i.e. a usually eloquent speaker is made to sound like a rambling cluster fuck i.e. a usually eloquent speaker's words are taken out of context. Slowdown, you crazy kids, and take a journey through time with me. Cuff began surfing as a kid at Isle of Palms, attempted to surf at Washout, was cussed at, his friend was injured, learned a lesson, went back to surfing at Isle of Palms, gained more experienced, and returned to Washout to become the surfer he is today, occasionally taking in the surfing of other countries. He took and takes surfing very seriously- hence the passion. He went through the awkward steps of a beginner- hence the passion. He fell before he "walked"- hence the passion. Ah, the passion.
Have you ever heard of the proverbial saying- "If you can't bark with the big dogs, get off the porch"? Once upon a time, I had my ass handed to me at Washout when I attempted to surf-not by a surfer then, but instead, by a wave. It was amusing, frightening, but amusing. Needless to say, later, I had my ass handed to me again by a surfer, Cuff. I learned a lesson- I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy! Haha. Apparently, that particular porch just wasn't my style. Another thing that I have learned- surfers have a great sense of humor. So, you crazy kids, chuck it up to lame writing, an overzealous surfer who was probably having a bad day, passion and a fabulous photo. You guys all speak the same language. I am not a surfer. (Actually, I prefer looking for sharks teeth at Edisto.)

Santorum came in second in the Republican primary. That would indicate that very many Republicans view their party more as Clarkie does than as you do, Art.
Or as Hunter does, for that matter.

More concerning is Clarkie's effect on the threads here and any discussion of actual issues. Santorum is a footnote in the 2012 primary campaign.
My effect on either of them is obviously zero. I'll waste my time in other diversions.

I see my conservative political thought as completely apart from any religion. I might be a minority in that respect, but the two can function just fine without the dependence on a father figure.
So far. i've tried to stay out of this religion discussion but i think you do more damage than good. I would think that would bother you.
Surely there are more important uses of your time than debate with people you can never hope to reach. haha i just realized i'm in that same boat. :)

But wait, there's more! If Eve was grown from Adam's rib, as the fairy tale says, there is a name for such a being.
Clone.
So if Eve is Adams female clone, he is actually having sex with his identical female twin. ( I know, no such thing).
But having identical DNA, wouldn't their children also have the same DNA? In other words, be more male and female clones of Adam.
But since we are not all twins, obviously this fairly tale must be in error.
