"Privilege" is how white liberals explain their own racist tendencies to each other.

Re: “VENUE CHANGE: This weekend's Chucktown Ball moves to North Charleston Coliseum due to weather

Well, so glad I DID NOT buy tickets in advance because I no longer plan to attend!! I'm sorry, but the North Charleston Coliseum SUCKS!! The sound quality inside that crappy little arena is HORRIBLE and unless you're too big to miss (i.e. PHISH) I refuse to waste the money!! The last time I saw Panic there you couldn't hear anything other than a jumbled collection of noise. Back when they moved that all-day fest with Panic & Yonder from outside at Patriots Point to inside at the coliseum I made the decision I wouldn't waste my time or money going to a show there ever again!! Sorry folks, but that place SUCKS!!

I think it's time that Charleston gets with the program and provides us with BOTH a good indoor & outdoor venue!!

"why does Charleston not have an oldies station? Seems weird not to play the greatest music ever made."

There are oldies stations. They're on the AM frequency. Talk radio. Perfect for people living in the past.

Andy
I just found out about Nik. He was always a good guy to me. And Donna, I am so very sorry to just hear about his passing.
Rest in peace Nik.

Re: “The Man Who Made Me a Performer: Andy "Smoky" Weiner remembers local blues guitarist, Nik Pappas

Thank you, Smoky Weiner! Thank you for honoring my dear Nik in this beautiful tribute. Nik would have been so very touched, as am I. He was a wonderful soulmate and even better husband. I am eternally grateful.

Smoky, I remember you rising in the midst of all the greats that performed on Cumberland's stage and Charleston's music scene.
I too won't forget jamming with Nik and yourself for many nights..... it was magic to me .....
