White Christmas at the Beach
“Dreaming of a White Christmas” was a reality
during December 1989 along the SC coast. A winter
storm brought heavy snow to coastal SC on the 22-
24. Snowfall totaled 4 inches at Yemassee, 5 inches
at Beaufort, 8 inches at Charleston, and 14 inches at
Hahahaha. Exactly Ron. It just does not get any more bland upscale hipster heaven in the entire state of SC than this. I attended with the family - It was pretty boring. The XC90 luxury seven seat SUV and V60 all-road Cross Country! A must have for all of us Ron. We can all cross country trek in style, because, really, who would actually like to be in the elements (bugs, humidity, nature) when one can be ensconced in a superior quality luxury volvo and just look at it thru the window in comfort. Why, we can even all wear our lands end duck boots without ever getting them dirty and carry our unassembled curly maple stock guns in our Frye Logan leather satchels! Thank God for this event, my wallet was getting waaaayyyy too heavy, its a hell of a lot lighter now.
Nauseating and pathetic. Garden&Gun is Gatsby. And the Mercury is Nick Carraway, not man enough to say no to moneyed creeps.
"How did the Swedish auto brand make it into the Made in the South Weekend?"
I'm guessing the organizers thought "this event isn't white enough, how can we make it whiter?"
"got lost shopping in H&M, nearly missed my boat back to my Rotary Exchange host family in Finland. Most terrifying day of my life."
You haven't had a very difficult life, have you?

@Dan Blake: seems like you post this same stupid complaint every week, and every week someone points out your mistake. Try checking back on a Monday.
Dan, look at the date stamp above the story on the right hand side. This story went live on Monday, Nov. 17, which happens to be the first day events in this list are mentioned. It was not posted today. Unlike published papers, online stories can be posted any day of the week, that's how the internet works.
WHAT, AGAIN !! Are you people brain dead ? "things to do THIS week" on a Wed ?
Why do you continually post these notices days after the fact ?
Things to do this weekend---on Thurs. Things to do this week----Sun. (The Sun. BEFORE ! ) Get the idea ?
I make up to $90 an hour working from my home. My story is that I quit working at Walmart to work online and with a little effort I easily bring in around
$40h to $86h Someone was good to me by sharing this link with me, so now i am hoping i could help someone else out there by sharing this link... Try it, you
won't regret it!....
Dan Blake you need to stop stressing and live in the moment, man. May I suggest Eckhart Tolle's riveting yarn The Power of Now? It will have you forgetting about planning for all of these events you weren't going to anyway in no time.
Don't forget about the Charleston Farmers Market in Marion Square with fresh local produce, amazing locally prepared cuisine, arts and crafts, live music, pony rides, jump castles and a special event tomorrow which will be the Centennial Military Muster at 8am where we will fire a cannon 3 times. No need to be alarmed. They will be blank shots. Open 8am-2pm! We would love to see everyone in costume!
Melissa Tunstall has faxed my secretary to ask if I want to meet her for a date on Halloween night.
I'll be evaporating into my couch at home; my aim is to drink and actively avoid anything to do with this day. Fuck Halloween. IT'S BAD FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS AS WELL.
Support your troops.
FREE Jazz fest on Folly Is. and you don't mention it !?!?
You need some new blood in you "things to do" dept. Your paper SHOULD be the, 'go to' place for weekend planning. But you leave out maj. events, post the day after, or mid day on Sat.
If you're looking for someone to fill this important objective, get in touch. email@example.com
