Re: “Delegate blog: "I’ll be proud to tell my children how I helped elect the first female president"

Both dem and rep candidates are big bullshitters. Trump is actually a bullshitter and a oompa lumpa megalomaniac. Clinton is just a simple bullshitter. I am voting for the bullshitter least likely to have us in World War III. So its Clinton for me. On the bright side, at least I can make fun of Bill for 4 years. I got a million Bill BJ jokes. Hey did you hear about the Bill Clinton Memorial Day Sale? All pants half off. Har Har Har. Hello, hello, is this thing on.

Re: “Delegate blog: "I’ll be proud to tell my children how I helped elect the first female president"

So many lies created by the GOP ESTABLISHMENT for their followers to retweet! And, of course, trumps no liar, huh? He has lied at least 4,000 times since entering the race because each day has him say one thing on tape, then deny it 1.5 seconds later.....and the republican "followers" believe everything he says. So if you consider the followers believe everything this black-hearted buffoon has to say, that proves that drumpf panders to the less-informed puppet (trumpette) who follows with blind allegiance.

In all honesty, Trump will be a danger to the United States. I mean, just about all nations and groups that support him harbor prejudices. Putin loves trump, and not because he can strike an accord with the US, but rather he will be able to exploit trump at every turn. The KKK loves trump, and not because he loves everyone, but because trump has shown blatant bigotry against all that are non-white, straight males. The GOP loves him, but not because of his unfettered language, but because he will look out for the top 1% because he IS a one-percenter. Further, his rhetoric has given rise to increased violence against about every minority group out there.

If the working class thinks trump is on their side, naivete' is playing a YUGE role in their decisions because corporate America will be the ONLY beneficiaries of his "economic plan".

And the biggest thing that sticks in my craw is the fact that trump belittles, lambastes and attacks anyone whom he doesn't like and then beats them down making him the very person I grew up to h@te......a BULLY of YUGE proportions. I could not h@te a man more than I h@te trump!

Re: “Delegate blog: "I’ll be proud to tell my children how I helped elect the first female president"

Today I learned that 100% honesty is a quality that people apparently all of a sudden require of their (Democratic) politicians. This is reminiscent of when Obama got elected the first time and golly gee would ya look at that debt and deficit!

Re: “Delegate blog: "I’ll be proud to tell my children how I helped elect the first female president"

Well, this guy is a Hillary delegate so he has to say things like this, but does he really believe in her? I feel bad for people who can not think outside the box and this guy has his head so far up her butt he can see her tonsils. If history is written fairly, his children will be asking why did my Dad vote for these two buffoons. That is the nicest way I can comment on this guy.

Bmx riders are getting the minority treatment. Pegs are made of metal just like skate trucks. Suck it up and share the park.

Re: “Naked and Unafraid

You have confirmed for all those who wonder that nude does not equal lewd nor does it have any sexual implications at all. We live in Florida and are members of a family nudist park. I will state unashamedly that all people owe it to themselves to try it at least once. Put it on your bucket list and face this universal fear for once in your life. The experience will not be as you imagine. You will feel the freeest you have ever been. You will feel the most accepted and least judged ever. Then make your judgment.

You'll be proud until Hilary does something wrong and then you'll deny ever supporting or voting for her.

Re: “Delegate blog: "I’ll be proud to tell my children how I helped elect the first female president"

You will tell your children that you sanctioned, and supported, someone who was a liar, a cheat, helped kill US citizens in Libya, took millions from foreign governments for favorable treatment as a Sec. Of State? And that you supported one of the biggest losers ever in a presidential election? Over 70% of the general public does not trust her now, and after the next round of hacked emails comes out, that rating will get much worse.

Same if your girlfriend/boyfriend lied to you that much and deleted all their emails, takes money from strangers for "services", let four of your friends die in a foreign country, you would not trust them as far as you can spit.

If your mom lied to u as much as hillary has lied to America, u would not believe a thing she ever says.

Re: “Police ballistic vests are a greenlight for CPD to militarize

Retired Sheepdog, why blame Obama? He has opposed the killings of police officers, he is very compassionate on police in general. He just does not like when some officers behave irresponsibly, like stopping blacks for no reason except they are black. Sure, Obama is not perfect, but then nobody is. Obama has been the best president this country has ever had. All previous presidents had major faults.

Re: “The Agenda: Clinton accepts nomination; More downtown hotels; DOT staffers in corruption flap

So, not only do we have lots and lots of guys leaning on shovels while one or two actually work, but the contractors who hired them are in the "fix", as well as the DOT folks who got kickbacks. Nice to see it is business as usual with the SC Highway Dept. Maybe some day one of our governors will do something about it.

Re: “Delegate blog: Bill gets personal and Obama passes the baton

"Bill gets Personal", oh yes indeed he sure does. He's also got a baton that he would like to pass along to a few of the new interns once he gets settled in at the White House.

Re: “Police ballistic vests are a greenlight for CPD to militarize

Almost all police everywhere in the US have been wearing body armor for decades. However, that "soft" body armor is only rated to stop pistol and shotgun projectiles.

This is "hard" body armor which can stop rifle rounds (it's steel or ceramic). I am sure the Charleston SWAT team already has this. I guess they are buying more now since BLM nutjobs want to assassinate police.

Re: “Delegate blog: Bill gets personal and Obama passes the baton

Trayvon Martin wasn't killed due to police violence. Michael Brown's mother shouldn't have been there as his killing was justified by the DOJ, and where are the father's of those killed? As for Obama, he said previously that hillary wasn't fit for the presidency. Was he lying then or now?

Re: “Thank you for my beautiful life

Alison,

Never in my life have I responded to an article on the internet. I’m not a ‘comment’ kind of person, but I read this a few days ago and it won’t let me go. Had we ever met, I feel like there is much I would have liked to talk to you about. Since that is not possible, I wanted to share something that I hope does not offend you. You ended your story with, “If there’s a heaven, or whatever, I’ll see you there.” In the book of Revelation, God gives the apostle John a vision of heaven. Here’s some of what he said. “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away… I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.” I have a feeling I am one of many who have wondered about your faith and tried to “save your soul” before your days are done. If you’re not a believer, I empathize with the irritation that comments like this can cause. I resisted Christianity for years. As I got older, I realized my views were based on what I wanted to be true, not what is objectively true. God either exists or he doesn’t. Either way, my feelings have nothing to do with it. After a long period of research, reading, talking to folks much wiser than me, etc. I became convinced that Jesus is who He said He is – the Son of God – and that as inexplicable as it seems, His death opened the door to heaven for us - an undeserving people in need of forgiveness. It’s hard to comprehend, but God loves you so much, that he would rather send his Son on a suicide mission to rescue you, rather than spend one day in eternity without you. If, like me, you have been resisting Him, I pray that you give Him a chance. Heaven is real; there are no “ifs” about it. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” It’s obvious that many people love you Alison, but none more than Him. I hope to see you there.

Re: “Blotter: Gotta piss 'em off

The SCANA (NYSE:SCG) /SCE&G INVESTMENT of the TWO NEW NUCLEAR UNITS IN JENKINSVILLE IS NOT FOR A BASE LOAD FACILITY!
Therefore, SC Base Load Review Act CANNOT be a LEGAL GROUND for overcharging SCE&G kWh ratepayers. PERIOD!
There are basic physics formula = Energy = Power x Time and that the Base Load is 100% (24/7 = 365 days annually = 8760 hours per year) time in operation. BLRA 70% apply to rated Power, which can be adjusted to real demands. Those simple rules have being learned in less than ONE hour by my students (in Europe and in SC). The “public servants” who were present in this ORS/PSC billion-dollar decision could not learn these formulas since 2008.
In all annual requests (9th time since 2008) SCANA + ORS + PSC are showing to over three million victims “their arrogant power of monopolistic slavery”. In 21st Century SC kWh ratepayers and SC taxpayers voices are ignored but their money is taken illegally anyway - a billion after a billion dollars! Also some$$ are used for bribing “public servants”. May I, as an American teacher (being placed in top 2% among them by my cum laude students), deliver them a grade “F”? But the question still is “who will fire these servants”, Donald J. Trump? Is it funny?
After a reading, do you have your own idea how to end this scandal where white-collar criminals are stealing your money?
Georgian utilities are building their twin plant in Vogtle using US DOE $8.3 Billion. Is Georgia’s basic education better than in SC?
………….
SC children suffer from heat waves in the homes trying to save on overcharged electricity as a result of SCANA / SCE&G scandal...

1. To SCANA (NYSE:SCG) =“Thou shalt not steal” from SCE&G kWh ratepayers because …
2. “Thou shalt know that SC Base Load Review Act do not apply to the non-base load nuclear plant in Jenkinsville SC”
