"No it wouldn't and nobody would not be able to reward people who work harder to serve me better. Instead the grumpy, unorganized and slow servers would get paid the same as the pleasant, efficient and fast servers who bust their ass to make it a better experience.
But at least everyone would get paid the same. No sense in having systems that reward hard work when you can have a systems that makes sure that even the mediocre get paid the same."
That's not how any of that works, but OK.
"If we had a universal basic income, tipping wouldn't be an issue anyway."

Sophia is my spirit robot.
Lauren & her treats are fantastic, but I think city paper missed the mark here by not realizing that Chrisophes is now open in WA as well. The variety & selection available at one any given moment is a true sweet-tooth heaven.
Here's my theory about flying saucers by way of an anagram I found a few years ago. Rearrange the letters of the first part to get the second part:
Lucifer and his army of angels ~ had alien flying saucer forms.
Scott did a kick ass job with the illustrations. Twiki was my favorite until I saw R2
Thanks for this category, Chris. Ken would have loved it also. I'm passing it on to Joe.

Yes, there is probably something out there. And since they are many light-decades and hundreds of years of travel away, they will most likely stay out there.
If not, could be trouble, as they have almost certainly made a one way trip.
Everyone's "spirit robot" is their smartphone. They look at it more than they do anything else. Fact.
One study found that the average American checks his/her smartphone 48 times per day. I found that number seemed quite low.
People are just getting more boring. Just more fucking boring.
What? You forgot CMDR. Data?
We can indeed get serious about extraterrestrial intelligence. But it can't be done by merely spotting an occasional craft, airing the story, and moving on to the next breathless event. In order to get serious, we have little choice and no real alternative. We have to do this by collective, global effort, for there is no individual and no small group of people or authorities capable of such an undertaking. This investigation of alien presence will be like no other human endeavor. But we can do it--and if aliens are present in our skies, we can and must make contact. It could save our planet from the abyss. Read UFOs-WHERE FROM HERE. Of all books on UFOs, it makes the most sense, by far. Available in E-reader form as well as hardback and paperback.
Are y'all going to take it down again this year if I put it back up?
If you voted my comment down, you voted down science.
At least there's sort of a bay....

Big Bucks has wonderful service and prices.
These two talented & crazy guys are getting the recognition they deserve! I have gone there so much I consider them friends. This is only the beginning of this pair. To all of my FB friends......this IS the place I've been talking about for the last year!
