Re: “Chris Robinson on Lowcountry living, Deadheads, and fleeing corporate rock

When The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion came out in 1992 I had an epiphany on the profound scale. It blew my mind and listened to it every day that whole summer and fall. I am so glad to see Chris hasn't changed. He is very inspiring to me as a musician. Thanks so much for everything Chris Robinson!!!

Re: “FM Station The City hits the airwaves

I am in my late 50's and saw your billboard on 526 3 days ago. I put it right on and was thrilled at what I heard. Like a teenage boy in high school, I was compelled to contact you guys. The only L'il's I want to hear are L'il Eva L'il Stevie Wonder and L'il Anthony. Hearing the Isley Bros. and all the other hits from that era is just wild. THANX I am your new #1 fan and will do whatever I can to pass it around. Keep it up guys, you are awesome!!!!!!!!! thanx again, Paul Le Clair

Re: “WATCH: Hip-hop duo DBL DRGN debuts with Inauguration Day release, "Trim the Bushes"

That sure is really good music. I mean the Beatles must feel stupid they couldn't write music like this.

Re: “Inauguration Day release from Diaspoura speaks to fears of being a queer nonwhite Southern woman

I'm so jealous of my parents that go to grow up with good music in the 50's ,60's and 70's. This is beyond bad

Re: “Shrimp Records collective reunites to benefit Gun Sense SC

There aren't online or gun show loop holes from dealers, why can't people understand this? Someone please explain, I know because I have purchased guns at both online and at gun show. They do background checks, they have too already.

Re: “Rapper Aesop Rock talks punchlines, personality, and eschewing conventions

Rap is amazing, probably the best music ever made. Aesop Rock makes Bach and Beethoven look like Milli Vanilli

Re: “A musician's case against the $5 cover charge

If you can't afford to pay a $10 cover to see a live band, then go to a bar that has a jukebox and stuff dollar bills into all night. You can then listen to all your favorite songs without paying a cover.

Re: “Todd Brown and Mike Grimm, Tin Roof

I've also recorded with Todd Brown back in the mid-00s and love the recordings to this day. He's good people... his whole family were terrific to us.
