Re: “Expensive Off The Record festival coming in March

Thank you for the honesty! That price is crazy and I'm glad someone is calling them on it.

Re: “Heyrocco release "Santa Fe" video

All their new songs suck. They have ventured into the teen pop world. They used to really have some great tunes

Re: “Chris Robinson on Lowcountry living, Deadheads, and fleeing corporate rock

Chris, thanks for the shows, the rad vinyl and all the hard work you and the crew put in. Sorry for acting like a total freak at times at some shows but the sound fills my soul, takes me to another place and I can't help it sometimes. Please keep it up for years to come.

Re: “Shovels & Rope to play Letterman's "Late Show" on Tuesday

I don't care for their music that much, but I certainly respect their hard work and effort to become popular in such a music poor time in America.

Re: “The Blue Dogs find a way to reconnect with old friends from Uncle Mingo, Five Way Friday, Jupiter Coyote, and the Pat McGee Band

I saw Uncle Mingo several times in a field in Red Top, SC when I was a high school student at Wando ~1990. Red Top is, I think, somewhere along Hwy 17S. I couldn't find it now but I sure knew where it was then.

They had a hearse as their band vehicle. A generator powered their equipment.

How did anyone know these things were on? No website to check, no Facebook page to update, no mobile phones to send around texts or group chats, no physical location to read the schedule on a board. I guess someone got hold of a printed flyer or something, maybe a mailing list. If you lost your friends out there, you might not see them again for the rest of the night (but you could go pass out on their car hood so they wouldn't leave without you).

Old school partying.

Re: “The Blue Dogs find a way to reconnect with old friends from Uncle Mingo, Five Way Friday, Jupiter Coyote, and the Pat McGee Band

It has to be at least 13-14+ years ago, but way back when I was a poor college student, I saw Blue Dogs and Jupiter Coyote at The Handlebar in Greenville on some Howlin' and Growlin' tour, I believe it was called. To this day, absolutely one of the best concerts I've ever attended, and truth be told, that's a big statement considering some of the acts I've seen since. I was again back home for Christmas this past weekend - just arrived back in Charleston. Damm - wish I had seen this sooner..

Re: “Arthur England crafts exceptional instruments from ordinary objects

His Different collection of guitar amazed me .I Will share this in my Facebook friends. Actually I always play guitar.I enjoy online guitar learning which has taught me the basics along with music theory as a back up. In addition, the more sophisticated techniques are explained and demonstrated clearly in the audio and video clips you can download. All in all, a great package for anyone wanting to pick up the guitar and impress their friends. Download From here http://bit.ly/g-uitar

Re: “Arthur England crafts exceptional instruments from ordinary objects

Great article.. I love his guitars and the Cramps Amps his partner builds. They are amazing guys with great talent. The guitars play flawless and the amps are nice and portable with a great sound. You cannot beat Buddahs Guitars or Cramps Amps check them out I have and I am glad I did.
