I love this phrase. It's such a socially acceptable way of saying "well, there's still a few blacks that need to be priced out."
"Never quite gets below the surface.." "Lacks substance." Sort of like the City Paper...
I'm pretty sure my artist statement would completely disqualify me from consideration, regardless of what I did.
I have a cane that you made and I bought from you in Beaufort, SC. I feel very honered to have it.
FYI -- cppl.org sends me to some random site (it's ccpl.org)
I hope there's a "cutting open the Tauntaun to stay warm" game!
Physical media is dead. Long live the cloud.
(Let's see ya make *that* wearable).
My hats off to the the artists participating in this much needed exhibition. In visiting the church I was able to observe some very masterful pieces of art work from sculptures to textile work to paintings and drawings. In speaking with some of the artist, my question is..., when will there be more exhibitions like this along the more traveled streets of Charleston? Truly a good work has begun.
This is a great idea. Congratulations all! This is long over due. I pray the public supports this venture. I saw the show this weekend it was world class.
Anybody going to go and review "See How They Run" at the Footlight Players? Hilarious British comedy!
I am fairly new to Angry Grandpa but I love watching him. I enjoy his videos so much and he always makes me laugh. Proud to be in "Grandpa's Army". Love you AGP!
Did anyone bother to edit this before it went to press? OMG, that last line is a doozie.
Is anyone really surprised at that? When you take away all but 2 of the original wives, Denise and Joan are the only two left, what do you expect? I tuned in and fell in love with Roxy, Pamela, Claudia Joy, Denise, Roland, and Joan. Not Brooke Shields and Ashanti.
Thanks, City Paper and Elizabeth Pandolfini, for naming FIVE GUYS NAMED MOENin "the Top 5" for the 2013 Moja Festival!
Sounds like a slice of real life. Good for Levitt. Good snappy review.
Awesome interview. Hope I'm like Samille when I'm in my 70s!
Some of the world's best short films are coming to Charleston this weekend!
Yay. Let's all chip in to support Lovecraft's rampantly racist and misogynist worldview.
Who knew? Thanks Charleston City Paper for ferreting out these guys and internet radio. The point about television coming full circle from b&w pictures on a tube to Netflix streaming in color on a flat screen is spot on. A friend in the production end of television couldn't finish a sentence without saying that "content is king". I think the same is true for radio. The inventors will always figure out new technology to bring pictures and sound to an audience. Content is king whether it is music, alien abductions or economics.
very cool - keep it up
