Re: “Now is when voters decide what 'Making America great' really means

Yes, she is a liar. She is a politician. The American people have proven time and time again they don't want to hear the truth about anything: causes of terrorism, climate change, oil dependency, economic strife, systemic racism. Fingers in hears screaming la la la I can't hear you. Remember when Obama said people get scared and cling to guns and religion? Hard to refute, yet everyone freaked out nonetheless. And so, because we don't want to hear the truth, we accept liars for leaders.

That said, she is hands down still the best choice we have, and one I am certainly not going to lose any sleep over making.

Re: “Gentrification hits home (and businesses) in Charleston

So why aren't rich non-white people buying up downtown? Don't tell me there aren't any! I'm getting really tired of the blame game, ya'll. If it bothers non-white people, get your non-white friends and relatives together and buy some downtown real estate and develop it for your poor non-white friends and relatives.

Re: “Now is when voters decide what 'Making America great' really means

While a better choice than Trump, Clinton is still a proven on the record liar. Forget Benghazi and all the other nonsense. How can we possibly trust someone who looked right at the camera and said "Only one device". Oh reeeally, laptop? phones? home server, ipads? If I'm wrong and she never said that and denied ever having any classified information on her server, please correct me. Either she's a total and complete moron or a liar. Imma gonna go with a big chubby liar liar pants on fire and fuck that chicken for awhile as nobody is that stupid (except perhaps Trump). When caught in the multiple lies surrounding the whole email business she's like "Ooops, caught me, my bad teehee, would do it different now, lets move on". So she is like most of America's career politicians, a self serving liar. So please, don't hold her up like a shining beacon of goodness and honesty. She's a self serving bullshitter and a liar. She's just a better choice than a lunatic, that all. She is certainly not a "role model" of honesty and integrity to anybody (look at the polls), but she is a perfect example on how to look right at the camera and lie outright to the public (those poor peasants). Now Bernie was a role model, that poor guy actually believed he could make a change and to a certain extent he did. He got concessions from the Clinton camp and he plans on making sure they follow through on them. This entire paragraph boils down to the better choice, which in this case is a lying Bullshitter.

FBI finds nothing on Clinton...again. Y'all keep fucking that chicken though. Haven't heard about Benghazi for a while. Maybe try that one again. Time's running out!

Re: “Shooting eyewitness takes the stand during trial of Michael Slager

The Post and Courier has a better (more complete) version of the day's events. I think the real story here is the prosecutors behavior so far. It seems to me she is giving the jury every opportunity to cut Slager a break. At one point yesterday the judge objected to the defense questioning because Wilson either wouldn't or didn't understand that Savage was bullying the witness.

Re: “Shooting eyewitness takes the stand during trial of Michael Slager

I guess the murderer got very angry that Scott was struggling with him after he caught him, so when Scott got free and started running away, the murderer started shooting at him. So sad.

Re: “National anti-abortion campaign to hold rally at Charleston Women's Medical Center Friday night

Don't they realize that having an abortion is often done for a very selfless, ethical reason, namely to prevent an unwanted child from being born?
My mom's parents did not intend to have any children. But my grandma got accidentally pregnant, so my mom got born. And when she found out she was not planned for, that they did not intend to have kids, she resented that greatly. She became very neurotic, struggled with depression. She married, had two kids with my father, but she was difficult to live with for our family. Had she not been born, she would not have suffered. And I would not have existed, i suffered terribly as a child from evil bullies in school. It was sheer hell in that school. I would have been spared that, had I not existed.
These Christians who want to demonstrate, are supposed to behave ethically. An ethical thing is to prevent unwanted kids from being born.

Re: “National anti-abortion campaign to hold rally at Charleston Women's Medical Center Friday night

Btw. This isn't a new thing. There are always people protesting at this facility. They are not allowed in the parking lot so they park on the street and hate bash/shame/guilt women with religion. No one walks into that place without a heavy heart. It is a helpless and sad place to be. Most women are there because they are alone without a hand to hold. Please, dont make it worse for them. I have held the hand of a friend in a very bad situation there. Empathy goes a long way.

I don't recall ever seeing one of these events that intends to curb women's rights that was not led by a man... interesting.

Re: “Gentrification hits home (and businesses) in Charleston

"The Pretender"

I'm going to rent myself a house
In the shade of the freeway
I'm going to pack my lunch in the morning
And go to work each day
And when the evening rolls around
I'll go on home and lay my body down
And when the morning light comes streaming in
I'll get up and do it again
Amen
Say it again
Amen

I want to know what became of the changes
We waited for love to bring
Were they only the fitful dreams
Of some greater awakening
I've been aware of the time going by
They say in the end it's the wink of an eye
And when the morning light comes streaming in
You'll get up and do it again
Amen

Caught between the longing for love
And the struggle for the legal tender
Where the sirens sing and the church bells ring
And the junk man pounds his fender
Where the veterans dream of the fight
Fast asleep at the traffic light
And the children solemnly wait
For the ice cream vendor
Out into the cool of the evening
Strolls the Pretender
He knows that all his hopes and dreams
Begin and end there

Ah the laughter of the lovers
As they run through the night
Leaving nothing for the others
But to choose off and fight
And tear at the world with all their might
While the ships bearing their dreams
Sail out of sight

I'm going to find myself a girl
Who can show me what laughter means
And we'll fill in the missing colors
In each other's paint-by-number dreams
And then we'll put our dark glasses on
And we'll make love until our strength is gone
And when the morning light comes streaming in
We'll get up and do it again
Get it up again

I'm going to be a happy idiot
And struggle for the legal tender
Where the ads take aim and lay their claim
To the heart and the soul of the spender
And believe in whatever may lie
In those things that money can buy
Though true love could have been a contender
Are you there?
Say a prayer for the Pretender
Who started out so young and strong
Only to surrender

Re: “Now is when voters decide what 'Making America great' really means

Hey no problem to me ... I think anyone that is honest to themselves,
realizes that Sec Clinton is the definition of a Corrupt career politician, no matter the party.

So, finding someone else to support is easy enough

Darrell Castle/Scott Bradley (Constitution)
Evan McMullin/Nathan Johnson (Independence)
Jill Stein/Ajamu Baraka (Green)
Donald Trump/Mike Pence (Republican)
Peter Skewes/Michael Lacy (American)
Gary Johnson/Bill Weld (Libertarian)

Re: “Now is when voters decide what 'Making America great' really means

@Artrogue: South Carolina law prohibits write-in votes for President/VP races. You can write in Senator Sanders for something else, but... yeah. Sorry.

@William All-Caps: while I believe that the blazers worn at the expensive, private boarding schools that young Donald attended were blue, calling a silver-spoon, Ivy-leaguer, million-dollar-gift-from-daddy guy a "blue collar" anything is laughable. Is it because he speaks like an elementary-school-aged person? That's fairly insulting to the working man, don't you think?

Ron Liberte can't be told anything, he is a narrow minded idiot. Its weird how people like him think they are open minded and fair. Im not saying he is an idiot because he is a democrat, im saying it because of his consistent false hoods and misinterputation of the facts.
