Re: “Charleston police seek to install more license plate readers

Has the region thought about both enforcement and economic/social help for North Charleston? There are more than a few cities impacted that might be able to help financially, but not just to arrest but also to provide support services. Would drop the crime in the Tri-county area for everyone....

Re: “The Agenda: Go Chants; City evaluating Airbnb, etc.; CofC considering drug task force

For anyone concerned about our housing shortage/affordability crunch, just look at airbnb/vrbo. Entire houses and apartments are off the long-term rental market.
Don't believe me? Go to airbnb and peruse the listings in your neighborhood.

Re: “Remembering the political legacy of Lee Bright

...and South Carolina politics just inched ever so slightly but perceptibly toward "not a constant embarrassment" status. Of course, maybe his GOP bettor was chosen because Senator Bright was merely not conservative ENOUGH. That possibility boggles my mind, but there is some real innovation in the field of political regression in this state.

Re: “The Agenda: Runoffs today; No new Clinton fault in Gowdy-led Benghazi inquiry; Why Trump scares Aziz Ansari

If we as the UNITED states don't come together and shake up the whole political system, defend ourselves against extremism everywhere, rail against cronyism, secure our borders from those that would harm us (cyber and physically ) and bring jobs, manufacturing and technological leadership back to our soil we are fucked!!!

Smell the roses people, I would rather have a bombastic demagogue than a same old, same old pocket lining, influence pedaling ,career politician selling us out for financial benefit and dynasty development.

I know the choices aren't great but you gotta chose. More of the same shit or at least a chance at something different?

The very basis of this country is we want something different at all costs that was the American revolution .
Knock the tea in the harbor , cross the Delaware at night in freezing storms, rebel against the status quo even though they have superior forces.!

Step out into the uncomfortable zone.

You might just make a better world.

I believe it was Thomas Jefferson who said...

"The tree of liberty must sometimes be watered with blood"

Personally I am willing to bleed a little to invoke change

And Mark Sanford is a joke!!! How he got elected again is mind boggling. I did not care he was screwing some woman. He lied where he was. Left the state with some bozo and we had no idea where he was. I'm transplant from NYC. At least with Elliot Spitzer, he is finished!!!! And look at Anthony Weiner, another low life!! Both democrats I may add !!!! And Anthony is married to Huma Amedin, Hillary's top aid!!!

Re: “The Agenda: Runoffs today; No new Clinton fault in Gowdy-led Benghazi inquiry; Why Trump scares Aziz Ansari

Look, point is, Hillary did not break the law. The point is that she lied to us and the families of the killed. Did nothing on purpose. Knew all along that it was a terrorist attack. We find out that somewhere along the line the State Dept. who HRC was head of gave orders to stand down. Had the military change uniforms 4 times instead of head out and save the guys. The compound was being watched just like Obama and his crew watched Osama get killed. So everyone knew what was going on. Hillary, Obama and the rest of the people in charge shud hv been in the Situation Room. Period. And what the report reveals is some new info proving where these idiots were. They did nothing . And covered it up.

Now, some of you may not like to hear that. Too bad. Truth hurts. It was right before the election and they cud not show this was a planned terrorist attack. Now you can blame the GOP all u want if that makes u feel good. That they reduced the budget to prevent better security. You know as well as I that is BS. They had better security before Chris Stevens even got there, but for some reason they pulled them. And there is always money to get good security. The gov't spent $150 million on a luxury resident complex in Kandahar , AFGANISTAN that was never used and $46 million on a gas station. So spare me that there was no money for security in Benghazi.

I'm not saying republicans r saints. But give me a break already with Obama and Hillary. Admit she and O screwed up. Covered it up and lied. Sorry to burst your liberal hearts. Your Messiah, ain't no Messiah. And stop blaming Trump for goodness sake. And the hair jokes hv to stop. Boring.
