Uh, Foghawn, ah say, where did you gain your knowledge of "socialized medicine"?
Single payer has always been the goal, Obamacare was designed to fail just for that purpose. You like the inefficient soul sucking experience of the DMV? The confusion and complexity of the tax code in reverse? The friendliness of an ISIS bonfire and beheading? You're going to love single payer.
Need heart surgery? Here's two aspirin and wait in line, and oh, you can keep your doctor, if you like your doctor. Welcome to the democrat socialist plan for your slow agonizing death by a thousand cuts.
Ticket prices to R'Dogs games are twice as expensive as other teams in the SAL. Have a minor league tour planned that takes me to Columbia, Asheville, and Greenville on consecutive days. All seats all comparable to the $25 ones at the Joe - other teams charge $10 -$12. Columbia brand new stadium. Asheville has Oscar Blues party deck and other local options NOT Bud Light. Greenville has same dimensions and monster wall as Fenway and located downtown.
Guess if you can put the words Charleston and Yankee affiliate in your name then your product is somehow worth more.
Dems could try but under Gestapo Operative Party control, no chance in hades because they'd be cutting off their wallets to spite their "off shore" bank accounts.
wilbur ross ftw
Guilt or innocence has yet to be determined for Walter Scott's killer, however, no one ever seems willing to address the factors that lead up to nearly 100% of these shootings.
Fighting with an officer.
Running from an officer.
Commission of a crime.
While none of these initially should lead to a death sentence, it is these facts that initiate the encounter that ultimately leads to most police shootings. People need to understand you do not fight the law on the street, you fight in court. That may not be your preferred option, but it will not lead to your being shot in the street.
When the officer says 'Stay there', do not flee, approach the officer, or go somewhere else.
When the officer says, 'You're under arrest', you cooperate. The time to question the arrest is at the station, not in the street, and preferably with a lawyer present.
When the officer asks a question, answer it, even if it is , 'I do not know'.
Be respectful, even if the officer is not. His disrespect can be brought up to the judge later, or at the station if you wish to file a charge against the arresting officer. If you do not resist, and cooperate with the officer,; then the officer has no justification to use force.
Respect is a two way street. For someone to be respectful to you, you must be respectful to them. Lack of respect generates anger. Anger in you, anger in the officer, and this anger leads to violence, which can lead to injury or death. Be respectful to the officer. It costs you nothing. It shows you have a higher character, and may even get you a warning instead of a ticket.

How about fixing and expanding the roads.
Now wait a minute y'all, lets get to the bottom of this mystery. Tommy - you mean they will not allow you to cut your grass, trim your shrubbery, wash your sidewalk, plant flowers, power wash, or repaint your shutters? Because that's "maintaining" your property. What exactly wont they let you do? Reopen the Hamitic Hotel? Paint the place emerald green? Make the place into a bar or restaurant? Perhaps they won't let you "renovate" your property the way you want to, due to historic preservation. I've seen them stop plenty of us from "renovations" for preservation reasons, but I have yet to see them stop anyone from "maintaining" ones property. If they are actually preventing property maintenance on the Faber House please feel free to share so we can all take umbrage with them.
"Fake" southern charm, more like.
Did he go to Trump university, hmmmm ......
Huckleberry Hound head speaks.
And the CCP reports the "news" we don't care about.
Here's an idea: let 'em build all of the hotels they want. It won't be long before the peninsula has so many vacancies that some of the hotels will close, then the city has pre-made shells to create low-income housing.
the really sad part of the story is that he thinks people care about what he has to say...and he's right.
I was born and raised on Johns Island. Lived there for 27 years until I went into the military. I am so sorry that the poor little rich drunk pervert can't maintain his family "historic" property. Others of us whine with you...NOT!
That property and others were built by slaves and yet you are still whining. Put down the liquor and get off your butt and correct what needs to be done to it.
But didn't the article say that your brother owns the property? I'm confused.
Yes, I am quite sure that is the case. The City is against you maintaining your historic property. Sounds legit.
All I want to do is maintain my property and the City won't let me. We need a new Mayor
A negative opinion from that piece of work is equivalent to a compliment
Rise in S.C. TOURISM AMONG AFRICAN-AMERICANS
My family came into Charleston for a family reunion. Ive lived here all my life and never wanted to take a tour here in Charleston. Most of us local African Americans dont even consider it. But they wanted to do a African American tour so we called up the visitors center and they happily gave us the instructions that all African American tours leave from the CVB bus shed. When we got there we asked about African American tours and they gave us 2 options. Wow out of all these tour companies they only gave us 2 that were Black owned??! Ouch! They quickly referred Al Brown of Gullah tours. I know Alphonso Brown him being my band teacher in school. We all at the school knew of his gay relationships and would often tease him as young children tend to do. He is a leader in the church choir which is also very common for gay men, no big deal. So when the CVB recommend his tour I was a little slow and saying yes. My family however not knowing his background wanted to give it a try. After taking his Gullah tour, my family which is all Gullah we were all very disappointed that we got very little Gullah history and got plenty laughs and jokes. We understood that a gay man would have a different way of telling African American Gullah history.
So we went back to the CVB and said we would try Al Millers tour. We happily paid and took his tour. WOW, this guy is extremely flamboyantly gay. He is not even Gullah yet he was giving a Gullah tour. How is the only 2 African American tours the City of Charleston offers are 2 Gay men?? This is a problem. How do we only have 2 black gay men teaching on the history of Charlestons African American history for all the world to learn about? Charleston is the #1 city in the world for tourism which is the history of that city and we all know our history is SLAVERY! Yet the City of Charleston only promotes to Gay African American tours? God please help us!! Why is nobody talking about this. This is the main reason black people in Charleston HATE Charleston tourism. We continue to learn that nothing in Charleston has changed. Shame on this holy city.
