I mean really, does this really warrant news???? I guess for you liberals. Who cares what he thinks. And someone mentions "liars". Wow wee...look who is calling the kettle black...and am I allowed to say that? Some of you may think I am racist saying that. HRC not a liar? Ha!!!!! And I suggest informing yourselves on policy, rather than sex scandals...and what the Wikileaks emails are showing......what John Podesta ( you do know who he is) and HRC wrote to one another. You would think these idiots in the public eye, would hv been smart enough to hv written each other decent emails? But nope, just like Nixon, they think they are above it all...look at the people at Sony!!!! Well, if you take the time and see what Hillary and John wrote about the Catholics Evangelicals, the blacks, the latinos, and yes, us Jews and Asians...they did not discriminate. She actually has contempt for all us peon Americans...And let's face it, most men screw around. Half the men in DC cheat on their wives, with their secy's, or with young men....and now, we are getting so puritanical? Liberals? Who hv no problem aborting a baby when a woman is 8 months pregnant. Has no problem having transgenders using the same bathroom. But has a problem when a man talks about a woman"s boobs and behind? Really?.....you should all listen to yourselves...your high and mighty attitude. Shame on even printing the article....stupid.
...are flocking outside
Birds of a feather...
Arik Bjorn here. I'm running for Congress in SC Congressional District 2 as the Democratic Party/Green Party fusion candidate against Joe "You Lie!" Wilson.
I would venture that my good friends, U.S. Senate Candidate Thomas Dixon and SC District 1 Candidate Dimitri Cherny, along with SC District 7 Candidate Mal Hyman--we, the SC Blue Brothers--would like to join me in issuing a public service announcement that refutes Mr. Ravenel's clear attempt to dissuade ex-offenders from voting.
In South Carolina, if you are an ex-offender who is finished with probation or parole, YOU CAN VOTE.
That man is a prince! Trump campaign must be thrilled! At least we now know the Donalds Columbian connection.
Who cares??? For starters, all of the CP staff and fans of Southern Charm. CIA, wake up and smell the coffee. As long as Southern Charm is important, (and it is) T Rav's opinions provide guidance for his multitudinous fan network.
Hey parents, if you have any of these at home, send them to a military academy at once!
"equality and opportunity to ALL its citizens then you must vote for Trump." Really? Are you serious? All it's rich, white, straight, male citizens is more like it. Perhaps he's still on the "sauce". Hair follicle test please.
Dear convicted felon Sir Thomas Ravenel. Felons are liars and you just proved it.
It is not his conviction that prevents him from voting, he must still be on probation if he can't vote. In SC once the sentence for a crime is completed voting rights are restored. Please correct this article.
I LOVE IT! He was smart to include both candidates on his billboard. I'm a retired realtor, and when I was active and during a political season, I wouldn't even put a bumper sticker on my car. Unless my client brought up the subject, I never talked politics. There have been realtor billboards all over Texas for as long as I can remember. I saw one that just had ONE of the candidates on it. I would dare say that that agency will lose business. She should have gotten permission from her broker, because this gal works for a national company. But in this divisive political season, I think even a small agency would lose business by publicly taking sides.
The "Trump" Effect:
If you think the evacuation time table was premature, consider the difference in how long it took to get out of town compared to back in. When you spread things out, you reduce the stress on the roads and flow works. I got to Cola on Thursday morning faster than I've ever gotten there. Coming back on Sunday, when everyone was doing the same, it took an extra two hours.
The damage to our area was comparatively light, but that has much to do with the luck of the tides (see what happened in Hilton Head, Dafuskie, Savannah, and lower NC) and a few miles of track for the loose eyewall. Yes, it hurts to lose business because people evacuated, but people evacuated because one of the largest Atlantic storms in memory was coming our way. Rick Scott waited to issue evac orders in Florida and they had a giant cluster getting people out of the way. Governor Haley and her supporting cast of state and local actors did a fine job of guiding all coastal residents through the evacuation process.
Repulsive and indicative:
He is emblazoning his followers to exhibit unmitigated bigotry and racism and he is taking this country down and backwards before we even get to vote.
Pugnax, I agree, Trump refuses to specify when America was still great. Was it in the fifties, under Eisenhower, when the south, including South Carolina, suffered under apartheid, and even the north still had very widespread racism? Or even earlier, like under president Washington, when we still had racist slavery? I sure wonder when was America greater than under Obama.
Your decency, morality, and humanity plus rational coherence and such are, to be sure, nice concepts, but their loss would be a small price to pay to make America great again, like it was at some unspecified time in the past.
Tim Scott condones sexual assault. Henry McMaster condones sexual assault. Joe Wilson condones sexual assault. And if you support them or Trump, you condone sexual assault too. This has transcended partisan politics. A vote for Trump is a vote against decency, morality and humanity.
