Re: “Sign up your kids for musical theater, painting, or even Glee classes

Signing a child up for "Glee" class should bring about a visit from DSS.

"One of the coolest features is the pull tab design, which ejects the wallet's contents without having to unfold anything."

Sounds like a good way to lose all your stuff.

Re: “Remembering artist John Carroll Doyle

John was a class act and a true son of Charleston. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Re: “Jay Fletcher rethinks South Carolina's license plate for nationwide web project

I like it, but ... I expect the identification of light blue with North Carolina will annoy some.

Re: “Hannibal Buress, the comedian critical of Bill Cosby, is coming to Charleston Comedy Festival

Let's see: Crosby's Florence performance was cancelled because of this guy's innuendos as well as a bunch of unproven, decades old allegations from questionable sources, but this putz still gets to play Charleston. Where's the fairness in that? Mr. Buress should be glad we can't bring rotten eggs and tomatoes with us.....

Re: “Remembering artist John Carroll Doyle

I spent time with John Carroll Doyle when he was the Wildlife Expo featured artist. What a warm person and a fine man. Icky to see Marty Adams catching a free ride on the legacy of someone who forgave her self-entitled snobbery over and over.

i don't care for the multiple fonts, but the palmetto tree image is superb. tons better than that hideous plate the citizens selected and is used now.

This wall was painted today. Anyone find the actual artist?

Re: “Who's the Banksy wannabe?

My favorite is the tiny dragonfly on the wall near Society and Meeting. It's been there awhile, and might be a different artist, but is cool nonetheless.
