Awesome food and service. I'm shocked by some of these other responses. I've NEVER had a bad experience. Worth every penny!
Best of? Insane! Mediocre at best. No more than an upscale Ryan's. Sorry I wasted my money twice to eat there but I thought I needed to give it a second chance. Not good at all.
We had read about the Boulevard Diner (and it's sister restaurants) in the CCP and were excited to find it during a ride-about along Coleman. We live in Dunes West and our area of Mt Pleasant has so much to offer that we rarely buck the insane construction along 17 after the 526. We were really glad we ventured out because the Boulevard Diner is a little slice of the old days. Huge platesful of delicious food. I had a BLT that had a mountain of bacon and wonderful fries. My son's meal came with delicious lumpy smashed potatoes, wonderful cole slaw and one of the diner's specials. We both had another meal out of the leaftovers. What a place. We will be venturing out more frequently now. Thanks.
Montreux??? You guys dropped the ball this time! Don't get me wrong, it's a good bar BUT Summerville Ice-House has a far better beer and liquor selection and, since they opened the rest. downstairs, the food is at least as good! All I can say is try both, then check your bar tab. I'll stick with the Ice-House.
Awesome bar for locals and tourists. It's hard to find a local bar downtown that's not too cheesy. This place is comfortable for locals and also great for a weekend night out.
Has anyone tried the Banh Mi's at the farmers market? I hear they are pretty good.
get your ass to a guerrilla cuisine stat!
yup! sean and crew are real badasses...
love,love,love that food and passion!
YALL want to do a guerrilla dinner some time??
I'm really glad to see that somebody outside my circle quotes this scene as well.
good choice! best fish n chips in town!
Kentuckyjo, I am sorry you did not enjoy your visit to Ol' South. Anything in particular you did not like. I am always looking for feedback. Thanks.
Perfectly Franks, Summerville. Better toppings, better dog, better bun....PERIOD
I have been to Ol' South Hot Dogs...ONCE...it was enough.
Why don't you try Ol' South Hot Dogs on Dorchester Road right across from the Air Force Base gate??? Try one of our dogs and then see if your opinion changes. We have the best chili in town! We make it ourselves with ground chuck. Yes I am involved in this business but all I ask is that you try us once. Thanks
Really Charleston...really...Starbucks??? Starbucks is doo doo water!
I really like your brunch. My only question is...why is there no female team member in your picture?? Typically women choose the restaurant. :~)
Very much agree with Flatbroke.
Not enough people know about or think about the wonderful local coffeehouses we have here in Charleston.
I live in Mount Pleasant and I recommend Metto Coffee on Coleman Blvd. to friends and clients.
It is great! if you haven't been it's a must! Also, it's BYOB!
All the coffeehouses I've been to around here aren't open late enough and aren't dark enough.
